  1. Yea I'll 99% be buying off eBay. Was thinking of I get a few people interested I would message them see if they can discount. I'm going to have a detailed read of the how to thread on the install and do it with a mate or 2.

  2. Haha, pretty sure you're not allowed to import them. Unless they're a personal import. Supposedly 4 in Australia according to a few ads.

    Pretty sure you are right on all accounts, I know 2 are in the country.
  3. I have skimmed that thread and will read it in more detail but this was a little different (I thought) as I was looking specifically at the basic "must haves" not at anything and everything people have done.

  4. What would you guys consider the basic mods that are like a must have for M35s? Coilovers, seats, exhaust, intake, wheels, brake cut mod, boost controller? Other stuff? Say you bought a standard one, what would be the first things you would be buying? Likewise, what do see as pointless or a waste? An example I think I read somewhere was a strut tower bars don't really work with M35s?

Considering the price of the ecu is twice what I bought my last stagea for, and you can't actually buy one due to some exclusivity complex they have, I decided to ignore that particular ecu brand. I needed around the clock factory support which even Haltech couldn't give me, infact I am still waiting for a call back from their support line.

    Link gave us what we were looking for, a brand new Fury 6 cylinder specific ecu with direct wideband, cvt cam control and the ability to run our M35 electronic throttle in a cheaper package than the other leading brands. Unfortunately it's out of the budget of most Stagea owners, but for those pushing the boundaries with power it should be the best option available, and other than the MAP/IAT and flex sensors it will plug straight in with the patch loom. Finally a better ecu than the Fcon for standalone control.

    The SL8 is only about $2000. But yea I understand the issues with only insight tuning them at the moment I think. I like the idea that it most of the wiring is done just with a patch loom. So the fury will be able to control the cams and everything that the other ECUs seem to struggle with?
  6. Yea I get how the wastegate etc works. Was more asking if there is something different about the BW actuator OTHER THAN THE SPRING that held the pick shut to improve the low end response. Could you just put a stiffer Spring in the hypergear one as opposed to changing to the BW?
