My Series 3 Soarer shits on any skyline for looks, class, luxury, comfort, power potential (2JZ). Since driving this thing on a more daily basis, it really makes me wonder why I bother with the Skyline at all... except for taking it to the track.

    I would have to agree the soarer is a much better can to drive around daily, but better looking is certainly a matter of opinion

  2. Now i know this is a question that gets asked daily but im yet to find a solution to my particular issue. The car will only idle hunt on a warm start and only for a short amount of time, sometimes bad enough that it instantly stalls and i have to manually hold the idle for a few seconds.

    Car is series 2 r33 with rb25det 740cc injectors power fc etc.

    I have replaced the bov and cleaned iac valve and 02 sensor with very little if any improvement.

    275rwkw and 458nm at 19psi (tuned by trent at chequered tuning)
    Overall good condition for age, interior is great, body has some minor dings and marks
    Car is listed as repairable write off on the ppsr. Happened back in 07 long before i owned it, repair was done very well and impossible to tell.

    Has an idle hunt on a warm start, starts and idles fine from cold start

  4. So after owning my 33gtst for around 6 years ive decided to part ways with her, during the process i've found out the car is on the ppsr as a repairable write off.
    looks as either the car was brought to aus as a wreck and fixed or someome smashed it within days or weeks of it being complied.

    The question now however is what do i do with it? its got a lot of a good gear on it and makes good power. The car had a very good repair job as it never gave any indication of repairs though now its basically worthless :(

    Sell it at a huge loss? part it out? I dont know what to do
