  1. Hi All,

I have for sale brand new in the box garmin navigator, 4.3 inch size screen with life time maps.

Step mother bought it for me, never used it as I have a Navman worth double the price anyway and have no use for an additional navigator.

Link the to the model with specifications can be found here http://www.jbhifi.com.au/car-sound-gps-navigation/gps/garmin/4-3-inch-portable-navigation-sku-83397/

Asking for $180 or nearest offer considering it is brand new.

Pick up only please don't get time to go to the post office with my working hours.

    Pm me for details.

  2. Thank you for the advice.

Luckily the brake fluid did not go on any paint it only oozed out of the tank a little didnt really go onto anything else.

How exactly do i bleed the lines of air? I want to do it just to be safe. Do the lines have to be bled on each actual brake or can you do it from the engine bay? Cant actually see any nipple/valve.

The fluid was flushed during 100k service (4,000ks ago) so wouldnt really be due for a flush.

  3. Hi all,

Today i changed the front and rear brake pads on my r34 gtt.

However i forgot to bleed the brake lines, i was in a rush and drove off after all pads were on. Is this a bad thing?

I drove the car for about an hour today and it seems fine. Popped the hood when i got home and there was a bit of fluid that must of overflowed out of the tank, im guessing this is from when the pistons were pushed in?

Also when i first started the car i gently pumped the brake a few times and heard some air then brake pedal went normal again.

Can someone please give me some advice here.

Greatly appreciated. Also searched a few tutorials and didnt mention anything about bleeding the brakes only showed pics on how to change pads.

  4. Thanks for all the help guys.

I have heard many good things about unigroup.. one day i was driving down the highway and this old rust bucket hilux comes screaming past me i was so shocked.... pulled up to him next to the lights and had a chat with him he said it had a worked sr20 in it with a big garrett running 20psi, he said he had it built at uni group engineering. It sounded awesome!! ultimate sleeper.

Havent heard much about jap link might check them out.

  5. Hey all,

So my r34 gtt just hit 99ks and its time to change the timing belt and water pump etc...

Can anyone recommend me to a good mechanic that they take their skyline to in the western suburbs.

DONT just say any mechanic can do it, because yeah any mechanic can do it but how many skylines have they worked on previously? are they confident? I know some workshops ask what car it is over the phone and you can hear the hesitation in their voice.

Plus I got the car not long ago and I havent really taken it anywhere yet so it would be good to find a mechanic i can start taking my car to.

I live around Wentworthville area, so any trusted mechanics that someone has been to and can recommend would be a great help, I dont mind travelling a bit if its worth it.

Yes I have searched topics, alot of them are out of date. Any help is appreciated!
