As above i just brought a set of 5.1 logitech and i cant get the surround sound to work.

I have changed the settings to 5.1 on my control panel.

And yes i tried different songs and different movies as well.

Are they stuffed speakers or is there some thing iam not doing right.

HELP NEEDED THANKS GUYS AND GIRLS.

If the speakers are all plugged into a control module then into PC you can check the individuals by pluggin directly into a portable or the pc itself, otherwise could be a sound card issue or the track may not be 5.1 encoded thus no total surround.

The only other option would be to take it back to where you got it & get them to test it for you

Hope that helps

How can i tell if its the sound card. Plus how can i tell what card i have?

Do you know what motherboard you are using? I take it you are using on board audio, which is usually a Realtek based audio controller.

Go to device manager & check the "sound, video & game controllers".

    • What are you thinking makes a sequential shit to drive on the street? About the ONLY thing I can think of, is if you're wanting to be able to roll up to lights in third or second and pop it straight into neutral, or you want to come down two or three gears, say out of 5th and back to second, but they shift quick enough it doesn't really matter

    • Sequential Is fine to drive on the street
    • Well that is not a sign of good quality..  Understand, but not so nice to drive on the street I suppose and out of my price range..
    • I recently got myself a 1989 r32 GT-R and it has some slight smokiness from the exhaust and misfires sometimes when coming off the throttle. I'm looking for a good mechanic in the Brisbane region who will do a good job on it. It'll need a diagnosis, and most likely an engine rebuild with refurb/stock parts (not looking for a motorsport build... yet). If anyone has done something like this before/knows stuff about this in terms of who can do it and how much it cost, I'd like to hear about it. I was looking on the forum and I found some posts from 2020 that were similar to this, but it has been a while since then so if anyone has any updated info that would be great.  I'm also new to the forum so if this topic should be in a different place please let me know. Thanks in advance!
