Think of the fact that when you drive into a tunnel, any tunnel, you are blinded for a second and then it takes a few secs for your eyes to adjust... add to that F1 cars that can go 0km/h to 200km/h and back to 60km/h in less than 6 seconds and I would really be asking what MS was thinking doing that in the tunnel??? I doubt that Montoya would have had a hell of a lot of time to see shoe especially without the aid of a break light!

from the little you could see they were both to blame, but in the end ms was swerving and then broke hard, JMP may have been able to take avasive action and risk crashing but im sure he would rather take his good mate out even if he does crash out himself, not like he is going to win the championship at least some good come of it, was good for a laugh as was alonso.

i have a feeling that like someone said, montoya will thinking to himself *suck shit MS i just took you out*... its not like they are the best of buddies anyway!

marjanal, im pretty sure it was the end of the tunnel. (i clearly remember the safety car just about to come out of the tunnel when the accident occurred)

we should organise sau F1 group viewings.. i always have friends over at my place or i go to a friends place and a group of us watch.. then we can sit an argue together :D

Ever been in a dark room then come out to the open? It hurts your eyes and your are momentarily blinded. F1 drivers are also human too. Like I said, it was a combination of bother drivers to make this incident happen. It's apart of racing.

On a side note, loved how Alonzo flipped the birdy while sliding backwards at Ralf. And I think that Jaguar diamond incident was just some PR stunt to get some attention since Jag can't win. It's certainly working.

    • I have been wondering if this is as simple as a voltage issue with the battery. Even on a charger, I can’t seem to get it over 11.8V on the terminals.    Unless the alternator has failed as well, that wouldn’t cause it to die in the middle of driving though.
    • I’ll give this a shot next time I’m able to wrench on it.    I was able to get my hands on a Haltech Nexus, so that should help with some of the more bizarre troubleshooting. Make sure the CAS is actually sending signal and will be able to set the proper dwell on the R35 coils.    I’ve checked power/grounds/signals at the CAS, ignitor, and plugs and it was all there. Granted this was static with ignition on, not cranking.    I also plan on swapping out the fuel filter and throwing on a fuel pressure gauge at the rail just to confirm I’m getting the correct pressure at the rail. 43psi if I recall correctly.
    • The attached document is fine. I just downloaded & opened it.
