My girlfriend called me today to tell about this goose. So funny.

For those who know it happened on the left turn onto Castle Hill Road from Old Northern Road. On the right side of the shoulder there is a grass strip that is about a metre wide. This guy in the commodore with chromes and custom number plate must have gone too fast and ended up on the grass. Now for the funny part - the strip is narrow enough to fit between the wheels and high enough to keep all four off the ground. LoL So he is sitting there and revving the crap out of it to no avail.

Priceless.

Just witnessed another one today. Not so funny and potentially more dangerous. I was a carpark this morning. Heard the screeching tyres and looked up. Outside, just at the intersection I saw a van with locked up rears going diagonally towards the curb (on the side he was driveng). Then the van did a MAAAAAAD 180 and ended up facing the wrong way. Just where he ended up was a couple on the sidewalk and they were understandibly scared. The driver of the van looked like a ferral yobo and I could see he was angry for some reason.

I was walking next to a bloke and he's like "Gotta be drunk". As I kept walking the couple caught up to me. The bloke said that he had no idea what happened. The van just locked up the wheels and went nuts.

As much as I reckon the van driver is the biggest tool, endagering everyone else, it was a good 180, especially from the van.

i nearly got taken out by a pintara tonight,

going onto the bridge northbound, if you take second from the left lane, two lanes merge into one. the right lane has a stip to the right of it and there is a sign saying merge left...

a car that must have been further back decided they wanted to sit in my blind spot (i was in the lane that keeps going) and they didnt realise that they had to merge, so they were next to the rear of my car and had to lock them up to stop hitting the side of me or the strip.

idiots...

also tonight a motorcyclist decided to think about overtaking while turning right behind me (only one lane for turning) nearly took themselves out on my rear quarter panel.

i guess there were lots of too keep drivers around tonight.

    • Tried to make 1/8npt threads into compressor house of the turbo for my EBC. Threads got fu#ked and ended up with and elongated hole, so I do have good amount and nice threads 90% of the hole but 10% I only had 1-2threads there and rest of it is flush on that side of the hole.. So my idea is to do M12 x 1.25 to AN4 with braided lines instead of 1/8npt to 4mm vacuum silicone hose.  and hopefully get a better thread. M12 is quite big and AN4 is a little bit bigger than 4mm (4.9mm inner diameter braided PTFE hose). but this should work. Thoughts? Otherwise I will weld and adapter onto the turbo.
    • Looks great, I hope everything is working well after all that time!
    • Finally back on the ground and once around the block for the first time in 2+ years
    • Ok a solution was found. I had left the factory oil temp sensor in and it was hooked up. My car never had the triple gauges.  Apparently when you delete the factory pressure and leave the temp sensor connected it triggers the oil light on the dashboard. Disconnected the temp sender, no more light.  I still haven't gotten around to look at the diagrams to figure out how/why they are tied together.
