  1. I'm not married, but I'm definately off the market. Sorry. Make me an offer! On the car, that is.
  2. The Importer told me it was Charcoal Purple, so that's what I've always called it. Guess it could be the Pearl Grey - I haven't seen that colour before to be able to compare. I'll take some more pics on the weekend and post them up. In any case, the paintwork and engine is immaculate and I don't need 2 GTR's in the garage so it must be sold! Any reasonable offer will be considered.
  3. No, it's not Midnight Purple. I've never seen another Skyline in this colour, but as far as I know it's not custom. It's Charcoal Purple. Dark grey with a purple metallic fleck through it. The car seats are also dark grey and purple.
  4. Hey, I'm in Canberra and I'm selling my R33 GTR v-spec Series II and I'm about to put 12 months ACT rego on it. You can see it here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...Ii-t240264.html Give me a ring 0414 950 145 or email [email protected]

  6. I want to get as much power out of it as I can. I put a Microtech in my R33 GTR and not a Apexi Power FC because I was told that the Microtech would give me more kw. The car is not having the turbos changed over, but stage 1 type mods like cat back exhaust, dump pipes, intercooler, air filter etc will be done. This is an everyday car for me and will be running 1 bar of boost. I don't drive like a nanna otherwise I wouldn't own skylines, so I want to get the most out of it. I don't care what is cheaper etc I'm after the best performance. Also, you've both mentioned that it depends on who tunes it. Who's a good tuner in Canberra? My current GTR was done in Sydney.

  8. Hi All, I'm about to buy a R34 GTR v-spec II and I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a good aftermarket ECU to put in it? I am running a Microtech in my R33 GTR and when I had it fitted I had lots of problems getting it tuned right (I still think it's not 100%). I know lots of people put Apexi Power FC's in, but I not sure why. I'm just after some suggestions and some solid reasons about which way to go. Cheers . . .
  9. Yes, I always thought it was a standard feature, that's why I've always been suprised that my 33 GTR doesn't have it while my 33 GTS did. Perhaps the pervious owner had some sensor removed since I got my GTS as soon as it arrived in Oz while my GTR ran around Sydney for about a year before I bought it. I was assuming it was a sensor or something simalar, rather than part of the alarm system I was running. Not sure what alarm I've got, will have to check when I get home, The previous syste, was Brant but this got replaced after an incompetant electrician blew all my wiring! I know I can press the button on the remote after ignition and it will lock both doors, but once the ignition is killed the doors are still locked and I have to press the button again to get them open.
  10. Thanks for your replys. No, it doesn't lock the passenger door at the moment. It doesn't lock anything automactically, though I do have a button that locks the passenger door manually. Maybe I could use this in the setup? My old skyline auto locked the all doors after ignition, auto un-locked them all once the ignition was cut, including accident, stall etc but I had a button, where my current one is, that unlocked the passenger door (for dropping people off etc) And BTW Mr Ed32 - I'm a woman - I'm not likely to '.. get a gf that locks the doors when your driving ..'
  11. I was hoping to have it lock automatically, so I didn't have to make a conscious decision to lock the doors. Also, if I manually lock the doors, in the case of an accident the doors would still be locked because they aren't tied to the ignition system and computer. I would also have to manually unlock the doors whenever I parked the car, instead of them unlocking when the key is removed from the ignition. Both things, my previous Skyline had.
  12. Hi All, After being assulted on Sunday night after someone ripped open my GTR's door in a service station, I am looking for a sensor I can install so the doors automactically lock. My previous R33 GTS's doors automactically locked 30 seconds after the ignition was started but this is something the car came with from Japan. Can I get something like this for my R33 GTR v-spec? How would it work with the turbo timer? Thanks a lot Angela
  13. Were the repairs done under Insurance or was it something you arranged? My sister had her Mazda SP20 repaired there and they did an excellent job.
  14. I'm insured with Just Cars coz they're the only ones who'd insure the car in the first place! Just Cars don't really have a representative in the ACT so it goes to their parent company which is AAMI. I was insured with Just Cars for my previous Skyline I had in Melb as well. Someone ran into me a few years ago and Just Cars didn't do such a great job on it then. So I'm kinda happy AAMI is looking after it coz I've heard that their pretty good when you make a claim.
  15. The Insurance company is arranging a quote from Farugia's. I didn't even need to request it, the insurance company did it off its own back. Fingers crossed they'll do a good job.
