  1. Spoke to Bill Russo (City Dismantlers) and he has offered Bob Jane a deal including previous court legal costs for AIR. The offer is for $5mil. He is expecting a reply within 2 weeks. Lets hope Bob the old fart takes accepts the offer so that Adelaide will finnally get AIR back. Terry
  2. Just spoke with Bill, he did not win the case but has already put in for an appeal which could take up to 6 months. there is a few key points that he can appeal against. The judge decided that the contract to purchase the track did not exist but whilst on the stand Rodney Jane admited that there was a contract and that he didnt care who he sold the track to.
  3. Bill Russo is in Court today from 10:30 to hear the judges decision over AIR. I have been asked to go to Court with him but cant make it today. I will post the result as soon as I hear. Terry
  4. Sat in the Supreme Court today with Bill Russo for 4 hours today listening to the closing statements, nearly fell asleep a few times. I soon woke up when Bill told me how much it was costing him per day to have two QC's on the case. Basically the hearings are finnished and Judgement will be handed down at a date to be announced. The Judge has a hell of a lot of papers and notes to go thru and nobody has any idea when a decision will be made. I was really surprised at how much paperwork both sides accumulated during the trial. After hearing what I heard I still think it can go either way. Hopefull for S.A it will go in Bills favour. "keeping my fingers crossed"
  5. I'm very good friends with Bill Russo (City Dismantlers owner) Just came back on monday from a 10 day holiday with him and have been supplying him parts for 11 years. Had a chance to talk a lot about the track whilst away. Final statements will be given in court by each party next week on the 25th. He feels confident he will win as he said Rodney Jane made a couple of key mistakes while on the stand. Only time will tell as the judge still has the final say. Bill did tell me however that if he looses he will be launching an appeal, so he is very keen to get it and said he will invest 2 mil right away to get it up to scratch. I have never heard anything about plans for the track to be ripped up and redirected.
  6. Been going to Japan on and off from 1985, Started up Japanese Motorsport and still continue to supply companies in Australia with Parts, Cars, trucks, etc. Now based in Adelaide I still travel back to Amagasaki (inbetween Kobe and Osaka) for a month, every 2 months.

    Port G Is Back

Time for all you Nigga's to dust off the bluebirds, 120y's and condomodores, Port "G" is back up and running starting on the 6th of November. Drivers will be charged $30 same as before and spectators will be charged $5 each. Drifting starting from 6pm and going till about 9pm. We will be having 20 drivers max for every monday night. Please dont try to hassle me or con me to get you in after the 20 as we have to be strict with this and your ear will hurt after I hang up on you. Also if you put your name down and just dont turn up, we will be very hesitant to put your name down again, so please let us know before hand if you cant make it. So lets make this another fun season of drift, without all the politics and expense of "Drift" as we have come to know it. Call ryan for bookings on 83467077 ( I know he is very much looking forward to your calls) p.s no shitboxes out on the track

  12. Chiko has been dead for years. Used to be as many people out watching the drags as were watching the drift. The road that they used was frequented by a lot of big trucks. I think the trucking companies and drivers got too sick of it all and put some pressure on the Government to do something. At first they made ripple strips all the way down, after that didnt help they put an island and barriers that ended up in a bottle neck, then they made the whole area off limits after 10pm. It then all dried up. I remember I was out there once and the cops blocked off both exits will buses and gave everyone a ticket, except me !! :-) baka gaijin, nihongo wakarenai !!
