  1. Yep didnt want to hear that lol. Its a bit late now so I will just run them and see how it goes as its money already spent. ( Fingers crossed)
  2. Hey fellas just looking for some advice towards the build of my R32 GTR. So a little bit about the build first. *Extensive head work ( ported, +1mm valves, Tomei type 'C' springs and retainers, Tomei 280 x 11.50 cams) *Nitto rods *Standard block 86.5mm bore, grout filled to bottom of welch plugs *Standard inlet manifold modified with single throttle body *Precision 6766 split pulse T4 1.00 AR *Split pulse manifold with twin Precision wastegates And all other supporting mods ( nitto oil pump, ARP retainers etc.) My question is what compression pistons are people using and what is available? I was originally putting a set of arias in that I had ( 8.2/1 I think) But since the local United is now selling E85 I'm more inclined to use higher compression pistons. I know that CP do 9.0/1 and SPS can make anything to order. I was thinking something around the 9.5 to 10 area. Does any company produce these as a shelf item? And also my current fuel system is the stock GTR pump as the lift pump then twin 044s from the surge tank. Obviously going to E85 I'm thinking a lift pump upgrade is in order. What size pump would be suitable for this kind of setup? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Simon
  3. Bump. Need these gone as I'm going to 4" for the new setup. Cheers Simon.
  4. HKS Dragger - $250 plus postage Custom 3.5" - $550 plus postage Cheers Simon
  5. Sorry mate just saw this. I'm in Newcastle but can ship anywhere for 90 odd bucks.
  6. Not a 26/30 but I was getting around the 500km give or take out of 60L of 98 in my 32 GTR with around 300kw. And that wasnt being overly light on the throttle either.
  7. Ok this is some good stuff thanks!. I have already extended the sump and have installed the tomei sump baffle which I had to extend slightly to match the extended sump. I already have the head rear drain kit so I will be installing it as I can't see it being a bad thing. I just have to weld a fitting onto the sump to breathe back to the catch can. At the end of the day this car will be built for the drag strip with the odd street use so I shouldn't have the problem that is seen with circuit use as long everything else is in check which it will be.
  8. Seems like the drain kit would do the same as well as the PCV valve..
  9. Well you obviously didnt read anything before you decided to write your comment mate. Honestly cant see how draining the catch can back to sump any different.
  10. Well if you had read the first post and my last post you would have noticed that the engine is already out and I already have a nitto oil pump. Some people really need to read before they start writing their useless comments.
  11. What do you mean by this? So many mixed reports on this forum as on oil control. Currently running a Nitto oil pump, 1.2 mm oil restrictor and modified oil return galleries.
  12. Bump!! Quality stuff here guys. Make me an offer. I'm in Newcastle NSW but can freight it any where at buyers expense. About $90 should cover it Aus wide.
  13. Im currently in the process of rebuilding my 26 and converting to single turbo. I've decided to fit a Spool oil drain kit and have noticed every drain kit I have seen installed goes to the sump. Is there any reason why that I can't use the now redundant rear turbo drain to return the oil too. Obviously it still goes to the sump but just makes the whole installation a bit neater. Cheers Simon.
  14. 3.5" stainless steel exhuast - $650.00 ono HKS Dragger - $300.00 ono Cheers Simon.
  15. luke GTR- Hahaha nah mate got a little vibrating electric motor from work.
  16. Cheers fellas! Good feedback! Seems like to the bottom of the welch plugs doesnt cause any problems so I will run with that. XRATED - Ive already got a little 240v vibrating motor ready to bolt on my bench NUR33 - I would have liked to put an N1 block in it but have already spent the money on the stock one so just chasing a little bit more strength / reliability. Cheers Simon.
  17. Thanks for the feed back!! XRATED have you done much driving in yours to see how the temperature sits? I was planning on going to the top of the welch plugs which is pretty much half. Obviously im also running a large oil cooler and koyo radiator which will also help.
