  1. Thanks for the reply guys. Yeh that's what I was thinking. I done my research when it came to getting the turbo but now come tune time the tuners are throwing doubts in my head. Restriction exhaust flow wise it's basically a 3inch dump to a straight through 3.5 exhaust I was thinking of going the 1.06 but that will probably make it lag as much as a bigger turbo itself with a matched housing.

  3. Hey guys My setup basically is a forged bottom end rb25det, only thing standard is the head (no porting) . I have aftermarket springs and 268 cams. Have a plazmaman ffp, 6boost high mount with a proboost gtx3582 with a .82 strapped on ( same spec as garrett) .1200cc injectors and dual walbro 460 pumps. Now when it comes to tuning most tuners reckon my current power level (415rwkw) is near the point the turbo maxes out. Is there truth comparison wise to other people using these turbos. My aim was roughly the high 400 mark but after hearing I may need a turbo upgrade I've decided to bump the power I'm going for. How would a borgwarner s366 and s369mm spool up on a 2.5? Or even a gt42 ? I don't care if the car comes on full song around 5ish k.

  7. Hey guys Mates asking if he went from a .82 to a 1.01 or 1.06 on his gt3540 would he need to change the dump? Providing they are both vband rear housings.
  8. Spot on fuel pump was the biggest limiting factor for me. So I'm going to add another Walbro or two 044 pumps. Might aswell add cams since I'm getting retuned, always wanted to do that anyway
  9. Stock cams and a single fuel pump limited me. Once I add another pump and cams I'll see that figure with a retune I'm fairly sure. I get what your saying though
  10. Exactly you got fords and ls turbos pumping heaps more than that in Melbourne so its pretty common. Trent would a 1.06 rear housing help me get closer to the figure I want? Thinking 264 drop in cams aswell.

  13. Hey guys Currently making 415rwkw with a gtx3582 .82 rear housing on 27-28lb boost. What's the best way of getting close to or over 500kw? Would a bigger rear housing suffice ? If not what turbo is the next logical size up. Running a forged motor with all Nitto gear. Currently out of fuel system (single walbro 460lph) so couldn't push more , ill be adding two extra 044 fuel pumps into the mix
