  1. Yeah, just wasn't much info and didn't know if these were common in rb20's or not. Most of the stuff says 550cc, so should be all good, cheers.
  2. Anyone able to help me identify my injectors.. They are meant to be 550cc and I'm unaware of what brand it is.. Looks like Ammam or Arram? Here's some pics
  3. Yeah, I remember when I got my skyline I instantly turned into a professional race car driver! ....Lol, that feeling has now passed and I'm already driving like a granny since only owning it a year haha.
  4. Don't want to get off topic, but, long story short.. Bought car, booked it in for tune straight away lol.. And just went to some Random tuning place that don't do skylines or anything.. Don't think it was a very good/safe tune.
  5. I just thought it was because the hose was kinked, but then I changed it and there is little difference.. If any at all. So I just gathered its the way my BOV is plumbed back now..
  6. Yes was tuned at chiptorque... Lol 18psi - 171kws (I was more of a noob back then )
  7. Lol, trying to think how I can explain this to the best of my knowledge.. Say I take off from the lights in 1st gear, change to 2nd normally, then put the foot down.. It very slowly makes boost because of the t04e and does get faster as it should.. But then when I hit about 10-12 psi, maybe around 5500RPM (still in 2nd) it feels like the turbo is choking and you feel the car die off a little and splutter like it isn't sucking any air at all? (foot still down)
  8. I know hahaha I have a new hose on now that isn't kinked.. But same problem just after it starts making boost (when the screamer is about to open up) it feel like the car shifts down a gear.. For example: The feeling when you go from 3rd to 2nd at about 70kms??
  9. Well, took mine to an auto electrician just down the road. Found out its my combo switch.. So now I have the joy of hunting one of these down... Yay.
  10. Oh yes there is.. Duhh Thanks man, should make it a lot easier for a better position
  11. No nut on bottom of adaptor? You don't mean the one on top? Before I put it on I tried moving it and gave up because I thought it was fixed on.
  12. Well my lights were working fine before I did some cosmetic work on my 32 gtst.. Plugged everything back in.. And now I either get both headlights stuck on high beam or only 1 working left or right.. She changes her mind sometimes.. I f*cking hate electrics.. All I did as try the fuses but knew it wouldn't of been that. So off to the auto electrician it is haha
  13. Okay.. More welding & money.. I'll grab a metal intake pipe as big as my compressor wheel? 3" Weld on a fitting pointing towards the turbo and that BOV can only point up or down.. I can't turn it any other way, Bleh.. Lol Thanks heaps for helping a noob import owner out
  14. Too be honest I've done nothing to the car other than change BOV's. Everything is left the way I purchased it.. I couldn't make the hose point upwards to get a smaller hose because when my bonnet is closed there is NO room at all.. Smaller intake in front of the turbo.. Too be honest I didn't really notice it was smaller.. This is gay.... Haha So where my BOV is plumbed back.. It should be facing towards the turbo, so it doesn't go back through AFM?
  15. Damn... How bad is it? What would you do differently?
  16. Okay, I just had a brain fart.. If there is oil in my I/C piping.. Then it must be my turbo seals, right? Otherwise how would oil get into there in the first place? Or can is come back through the throttle body? I'm not sure.. So, an oil catch can wouldn't stop oil from getting into the cooler piping & intercooler.. It's only a very little amount, but, still..
  17. Well I found a welder.. Ended up using the turbosmart kompact.. I have a really bad feeling I might of set it up incorrectly.... I'll post a pic up in a sec, I know that hose is kinked I have bought a new hose that won't kink. So that's sorted.. Just wondering with the skinny black hose ontop of the BOV. Does that connect to the back of the throttle body? I know it's waaaay too long haha I need to cut it shorter. Appreciate the help guys!!
  18. Damn.. Thought so.. So sluggish (worse than an NA) when I take off..
  19. Sorry, but thought I might as well ask here... Rb20det with high mount t04e More low end power? Is the only way just to buy a more responsive turbo? Or are there some sneaky ways of getting it?
  20. You mean stock as in low mount manifold? And hi-flowed 34 turbo? I was actually thinking about the sspu1 or 1.5 from hypergear.
  21. Well.. When I bought my 32 gtst type M in December 2012.. I had very little knowledge on skylines.. I knew they were turbo and from Japan haha.. Really wish I knew about this forum before purchasing.. T04E was on when I bought the car and I didn't even know was lag was! First turbo I had ever driven also.. Payed way too much as well hehehe
  22. With the T04e? No boost until 4500-4700rpm (which is okay as I am not driving on boost at the moment due to my BOV hose being kinked in 3 places) It's working fine haha just too big for an rb20 IMO.. But got a new hose today, some industrial hectic sh*t.. Now my clamps are too weak to hold it on.. Grr
