19 and own my own business!!

im 19 iv owned a r33 gtst ever since i was 17, yeh they are an awesome car to drive but very dangerous as well, especially in the wet. but any rear wheel drive car will be like that, it depends on the attitude that you have towards driving, as i have been reading this topic, i suggest you stick with a non turbo, but get something that still looks nice like a bmw, or somethin that has a bit of power but not too much. i have lost a few mates in car accidents, and i have learnt from it that it simply isnt worth speeding anytime, there is no such thing as safe speeding, even if there is no one on the rd it takes a split second for something to jump out in front of you, or even something like your tyre to blow out. by the attitude that you have, i think your parents are right just get a non turbo and do some exterior mods, casue if they have seen you speeding and you sayin u can safe speed, then most likely you will speed and then you will be bitching about losing your license or you wrote it off. thats just my 2cents dave....

hi everyone, since iv got the 18's on iv wanted to lower my car, but the problem is which brand should i buy?? iv seen the group buy that SK has on offer and that is with whiteline, but is that lowering springs? i also know you can get king springs, and iv also seen Lovells. the problem is i dont know which ones to go for. atm i do not want aftermarket coilovers, i just want the springs as i want the car to sit lower. any help is appreciated. dave.....

when i bought my nismo 300km/h speedo it was out by half eg when i was doing 60 it would show 120. i bought a digital speedo corrector from jaycar and it did the job. you have to build it yourself but i just took it to an autoelectricain, the only one who could do this as i asked around. if you want pm me and i will give you the details of the guy. btw im in sydney also. dave....

is the turbo high flowed?? if so what power is it rated at?

either that or get some tape and cover it, and then use a razor and cut out the nissan logo iv done this before so if anyone wants i can come along and help its easy stuff, you just gotta clean the callipers so the paint sticks, and you gotta give the car a bit to cool down before you start painting, so i dont know how it will work, mayb you turn up then have a bbq gives it a while to cool down. dave.....

lol so true!! anyway a xr6t would blow a stock 32 away, but u should leave that for the track, iv seen alot of unmarked cops driving around in done up cars, its simply not worth the risk. last week i saw an unmarked magna vrx green with big rims and exhaust it turned out being a cop car and pulled someone over. you dont know these days they drive anything dave....

very good exhausts cheap and have a nice exhaust note. the silencer loses alot of power but it doesnt do anything its still loud and with it in it looks sooo ugly.

yeh really nice guy, its next door to my work, he has a heavily modified r33 gtr, and some of the cars you see go through that workshop OMG!!! iv seen cars such as fto's heavily modifed supras, rx8's honda NSX, r34 GTR and alot more

it doesnt look to bad, it wouldnt be a write off, but seeing they go by new parts and its only insured for 14k then it may be a problem. just go to the wreckers source second hand parts, i saw someone on the forums in the for sale section is selling a series 2 front end in white, that is you SOLUTION!! dave.....

whats with everyone here? i went on the cruise friday night and it was awesome! we had no problems, we even went past cops they didnt stop us, and we even saw cops in the car park and they were really friendly. if you dont wana go cruising that is up to you, leave your coments to yourelf, but as i read i saw it posted that its always everyone in their own little group. Well that is not true we are all friendly, and that was my first cruise that stan had organised and i have to say it was very enjoyable and we all got along. so what im tryin to say is, dont listen to everyone elses opinions come along and see if you enjoy the cruise, no one is forcing you to stay you can aloways leave. But as other Sau'ers would agree, we do not street race, we leave that for our drag days at eastern creek and track day. Dave.....

any cruise is good, just being summer and all arvo/night times are better, but im still going on the one on 5th feb, but we need something before then. how come no one ever organises them for saturday nights??

im thinking its rust build up on the pads, but if you keep driving it, it should go away as the pads start to rub on the discs again.
