Hi Guys, thanks for your help so far any new info about Andrew? cheers
-
cheers guys, thanks so much. andrew's been my mechanic for so long that i have no idea who to go to now since he's gone and really dont want to go through trying out different workshops anymore, as that was a real nightmare and a bloody expensive exercise too. cheers, Karl.
-
thanks for the reply Glenn would you have any idea where he might be when he decides to work again? do you know him personally? Could you possibly keep me updated as i'd really want to get in contact with him again many thanks, Karl.

Hey all, i used to organise events through Ted at Sideline Motorsport but unfortunately, they've stopped operating because of ridiculously high insurance. I would really like to organise something with my friends again, either on the skid pan or the lvma at mt cotton and would like to ask those of you who have organised events like this, who/which company did you organise your event through? thanks in advance

so when the car's finished having complaince work done to it, would i be able to garage it at home until you need it back for the engineers inspection? must you be the one to buy the car from japan? if so, then it's too late 'cos i've already bought mine but it's still in Japan. it's already got import approval as i paid a deposit for a plate from a RAWS in sydney, but if asking for some of that deposit back doesnt work out, i still save heaps if i got you to comply the car for me, not to mention the money saved from trucking it back to brissie afterwards too. where is your workshop? i wouldnt mind dropping by to have a chat and have a look at your workshop if you're not too busy.

good to see someone in QLD wanting to get compliancing rights for the RX-7. too bad it will take 10 weeks for compliancing as i would have loved to have my car complied in Brisbane instead of Sydney as well as not having to pay . any reason why it will take 10 weeks? If you are able to comply it quicker, i'd definitely consider letting you use my car

you're right but i really dont want to be one of them just out of curiosity, which tranport company did you use? is theft generally done by the people at the docks or done by people who work for the shipping companies? i have heard more stories about damage/theft from kiwi than the others. also, how much to insure the car for the trip from japan? will it cover for theft/damage in the docks too or just on the boat? thanks!

Hi All, my car will be sent over via Mitsui OSK to sydney soon. after reading so many horror stories about theft and damage, i was wondering if you can tell me where most damage/theft occur? on the ship? at the docks? while being steam cleaned? what are some ways to prevent all this from happening? pick up the car immediately after its off loaded? is it possible or does it sit in the docks waiting for customs clearance? my car has recaro seats, how likely is it to be stolen? what would you do if you have a car coming over from japan to minimise theft/damage? thanks in advance for your help!
