and... i've got an original HR30 with L20t (l20a) and tho it's ok (not really).. i'd love to put a L24/L28 into it!!... why?.. cause every other wanker has a RB!! b different go old skool!!! REMEMBER most of the people that will see it are too young to understand the raw power (?) of a L series revving off it's nut!! Hell put a VH45 into tha sucker!! if i could find a good 240K coupe in perth Thats what i'd do!! bugger ya all i'm going to bed!

looks good! but does it work well? eg: cooler intake charge or lag? have you taken it down the strip or on the rollers to see any advantage? of course there will be some but how much?!! and when will some one fit a VH45 to a local r30!! me cant afford it yet.

i've also been told that the turbo off a VG30 (single) will bolt up as well and being a newer model should work as good if not better than the FJ, but remember it's off a 3lt, maybe use the L24 block(for under 2500cc comp events) and might work ok! also what intercooler should be used in a r30? not much room and not wanting to cut up front bar(orig HR30,diffrnt to local) put up extra photos of enginebay pls look!

C-RED sent me to GO-TECH at 233 collier rd Bayswater, Owen used to race a 720 with a L20t at lanclin(i think) now the engine is in a 260z, knows about the oldr engines as well as newer ones. have yet to get him to up the ante on my HR30 L20T but at least he knows how! he's in same bdlg as AGI parts so he just goes next door for any bits (very handy)!! happy hunting! :Pimp:

rare as those manuals! but most modls have the same wiring harness just not plugged in, what would be an idea is to get a original car and park beside so you can see the diff!(like mine) but as you are only a guest dunno where you are! try scrolling thru threads to see if we have someone in your state or try import wrecker but most have never seen (or want to) such an old engine(no money for them!!) did see a diagram on the files at nissan dealer srvice dept when i went to find turbo specs but in japnese! good hunting!! :Pimp:

:aroused: Damn missed the thread. newby alert!! got a HR30 sedan L20T 5sp all standard not many around need any basic improvements eg: FJ20 B'fly? 'cooler? anything? starting from scratch on this one!! :aroused: Woftam is just a club for guys who are too old to do anything else that requires energy!
