yeh i was looking at it the other day, have to take off top piping turbo covers etc, i think i better leave it to the pros or else if i take it out ill never finish it in 2 years ..lol.. thanks for your help mate.

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone could give me a head's up on what the problem is, before i take the turbo covers etc apart. Basically exhaust noise from the engine bay is crazy loud also when i accelerate the noise gets louder and a ticking sound can be heard. Tick Tick TICK TICK !!! driving me crazy. I have a r33 s2 , stock turbo. Could it be the manifold/gasket or turbo fault. And yes i dont really know what im talking about ..people just keep on telling me its this and that. Remember a really loud exhaust leak from the engine bay is the problem... and the ticking.. fuel consumption is really bad and also boost is still the same as before (not loosing power). Hey anyone know where to get an airbox for the pod filters in sydney ?? i cant find that post where we had a buy from one of our members making it...

where do you reckon i can chase one of them up ?? ill try to get one asap. But the car is running smooth now no problems at all.. ohh and i brought the T piece and installed to boost gauge was running 14 psi spiking to 15 unless my boost gauge is reading wrong... no wonder my car smelt like it was burning hahahha

Yeh i mounted the Can to the FMIC piping hopefully it wouldnt move , its such a big piece of crap and its pretty stable also took out the silencer hopefully give the exhaust more flow. On a sidenote: Nothing wrong with the install of the Piping work yet, all running fine ... i just need to get the T join to see how much boost im running.

Jason done my car yesterday, its all holding up fine got it done in around 3.5 hours ..working non stop. I would recommend to anyone wanting their FMIC to be installed to go to MR_g , good job and cheap :lol: thanks mate!!!

I was trying to install my FMIC this arvo only to find out my car was one of them cars that need the support bar to be cut... decided to give up after that and send it in for someone else to fix it. Basically front bar is cut, and the hole to fit the pipe through is also done. Just wondering where all you people got your FMIC's installed, thinking in consideration to prices... thanks all !!!
