haha 33 drivers have it worse then 32 drivers imho... within 2 weeks of having my 32, i got pulled over 3 times... jsut breatho and that was it, no TMU or nothing... i was TMU free up until saturday night after beastclub's annual cruise, pulled onto blackburn road and bam.. over my car.. got epa'd for BOV :| not cool...

haha Abu... i have a set of super advan racing rims, same as abu's but with red lip and black centre; he doesnt like the three spokes... so bad luck Abu/Mr. iNFMS

i would appreciate after reading this, if the mods could put Doug up in the "car security installers" thread in this section. if the information is needed, i will PM Dougs information on request. Over the past 3 weeks, ive had many ppl PM me about Doug, asking for his number, what he is like to deal with and his installations. i couldnt answer all questions as i hadnt had Doug install an alarm for me yet. that changed today when he came to my house and installed a new alarm into my R32. Doug did an awesome job; only took about 4 hours and even fixed up a couple of loose ends in my car. he was very informative and definently knew what he was talking about; he isnt one of those installers that does the dodgy then leaves; he double checks everything and make sure the car is running and that there isnt one fault.. if you are looking to get an alarm installed for your import, i highly recommend Doug as so many others have recommended him to me. he may be booked out for a week or two, and even though you want the the alarm tomorrow, it pays to wait that extra week to get kick ass service and a cost that cant be beaten. for around 500 installed, i got one of the high class alarms that has every little feature that can piss off intruders into stealing my car.. you cant go wrong. i am very sure other SAU members have experienced Dougs quality of work, just ask them as i know they will post up here.. once installed, he guided me through everything, gave me all the pamphlets and everything(including a sticker? lol) and stayed around to have a general chat about cars and what not, even though he is a busy man.. this is rather a review for all those ppl that PM'd me asking about Doug.. any questions, post em up cheers

Hey all put these up a few times with no luck.. someone please take them off my hands!! these are the red lip with black centre, look awesome polished, treated them very well since i first got them. have acouple of gutter rash marks but doesnt effect these rims what so ever! rims are 5 stud, and: 17x8 front 17x8 rear 114.3 +38 pics: looking for 1k. comes with Bridgestone Potenza Low Profile tyres, 75 percent tread on all fours. need to get rid of these to fund new rims!! i am up for a trade, and i will throw some cash down to adjust if the need be. post up what you have.. im located out near Dandenong in Melbourne, inspections welcome, and i will deliver if the price is right cheers, Josh

LOL man, i do Pest Control for a living *waits for laughs*... its good f**king money hence it funded my R32 project. theres plenty of ways to get rid of them.. whether i use a single wax block baiting option or go for the full horns and bait the dog food with a poison dust(make sure your dog is inside for a day or two while they go to it) then they will never come back again. shoot me a PM if you want some work done, ill do half price for SAU and NS members cheers Josh oh and btw, and this is no sales pitch, commerical rat baits DO NOT WORK... all you will find in them is basically salt and additives. which does nothing. the stuff i use will knock them out in one single dose and they will die off within a week

lol the sub is perfect fit to sit on my seat, and ive secured it with an unknown method that i shall keep secret... im not attacking you. i have lived all over australia and melbourne suits me. if adelaide suits you, go for it, i still love adelaide to bits, but melbourne will do for the time being. i see where your coming from with the "un-secured sub box" thing, but that was my first thought as soon as i threw it in. today i may try to remove the stock amp/shells on the underside of the parcel shelf and fit it in my boot. who knows, might just fit... keyboard warrior? nah buddy, i just like to give a good point, thats all

haha Adelaide; that town says it all... all adelaide has done for australia is shown that Tasmanian ppl can swim lol think about it i dont do "ridiculous" speeds my friend. i rarely drive it as i have my daily car. i can see where your coming from but its a bit hard to phsyically fit the box in the boot. im working on it though, thanks for asking............ knob and if i was to install the subs, i would put them in the boot, no where else.. box is secured to the seat.... box is situated behind my seat.

try looking around the forums. i beleive there are a few traders that are selling exedy clutches pretty cheap.. just had a look. i picked up a Exedy 5 puk cushion button with barely any wear on it for 220 off a bloke who i trade with. very happy with it. funnily enough ive never heard of those brands but who knows. do your research and look around here. you will find something. the installation will be the bitch unless you can do it yourself?

dont pay for installation. to install a head unit, amp, sub and speakers(including wiring) is rather easy in skylines. i spent about 6 hours roughly to install my amp in the boot, sub in the back seat, my 6x9's on my parcel shelf and 6" in the doors. that includes running the wires from the back of the head unit all the way long the trim into the boot. biggest bitch i found was getting the power wire going from the engine bay through the firewall through into the cabin. with that in mind, i roughly spent 1500 all up for my system and i must say, is a kickass system that for what i payed, is outclassing and outsounding other similar systems; Clarion head unit - $500 Cadence 5 channel amp - $500 Cadence 12" sub in Cadence marked ported box - $200 Cadence 6x9 350w - $150 Cadence 6' 240w - $100 ive read good reviews about cadence and i didnt wanna turn to apline/clarion/kenwood as everyone else has their bits and peices. wanted to try something new. the amp i have runs all speakers and sub to max and theres still room to play. beautiful system... JB hifi is the way to go mate. very good prices and have all the good stuff. just do your research. dont put money away for installation, because its a waste of money. once you do it yourself, you will never look back. and im sure there are a lot of members on here who would happily help install over a day(hell i would for a slab of Coopers Pale Ale). space in my boot? errrr my sub dont even fit in my boot! its on my back seat. the amp is mounted in the boot nonetheless and theres plenty of room. R33's have bigger room than R32's, so you should have heaps..

thanks to razor, i got it all fixed up.. it is a SINGLE 10A fuse on teh bottom row, about 3 from the right hand side i think(dont quote me on that). replace that fuse and the clock and HU works all sweet. i went through about 5 fuses for some reason, found out it was just the way everythign was set out. if you guys have the same problem, pm me asap, its an easy fix, just have a bunch of red 10A fuses sitting around. now i need to figure out why the hell the amp aint turning off when i turn the car off. its got a remote turn on/off wire from the accesory on the head unit into the amp, yet the amp doenst turn off :S sound system is mad though lovin it!

which fuse on teh R32 should i be looking at? the fuse for teh head unit or the actual fuses for teh car?? the fuse(s) on the head unit are fine upon inspection. look brand new. all the lights work on the car(being dash, headlights, tail lights and what not). the clock just doesnt show the time; the clock light is on, but no time showing!

hey all just installed a new sub and amp... they all work. but that isnt the problem. now my head unit doesnt even power up, ive got all the correct wiring and what not... and it seems my clock doesnt like to display the time either. the clock light turns on but doesnt show the time. anybody got any idea whats going on?
