Guess that was to be expected...
I'd be pretty dissapointed if Kovalainen doesn't get a drive next season though.

Fernando Alonso signs with Renault
Renault has signed two-time Formula One world champion Fernando Alonso for the 2008 season, Spanish media reports said.
Newspaper El Mundo said Alonso had agreed to a deal worth E35 million ($58 million) and that an announcement was expected imminently. The length of the contract was not reported.
Tha Spaniard had been linked with a return to Renault ever since he was released from his three-year contract with McLaren in November.
A move to the French team gained momentum on Friday when motor sport's governing body FIA decided against penalising Renault for possessing confidential information about rival team McLaren.
The 26-year-old Spaniard finished third in the 2007 drivers' standings with 109 points after a turbulent season with the British.
There were rocky relations with rookie driving partner Lewis Hamilton and a spy scandal that cost McLaren $US100 million ($114 million) and all of its constructors championship points.
Alonso made his F1 debut with Renault in 2001, going on to become F1's youngest world champion with the first of his two titles in 2005.
In 105 races entered, the Oviedo native has won 15 races and finished on the podium 49 times.
Reports also indicated that Nelson Piquet Jr. was set to partner Alonso. Giancarlo Fisichella and Heiki Kovalainen drove for Renault in 2007.

I hate this stupid weather...
Skyline was in the garage for it's new owner (which picked it up today), although I borrowed my mates Rav4 to drive during this week while he's oversea's and it's covered in small dents

I expect that Renault will also file a defamation action against McLaren for fabricating evidence against them (refer McLaren's original claims against Renault).
I'm guessing Ron Dennis can't wait for 2007 to be over

Item: Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials 255/50/16 + 300ZX rims x 2
Condition: Tyres still have +80% tread, Rims are in excellent condition
Price: SOLD
Location: Sydney, Hills area
Contact: PM or reply in this thread
Comments:
Best bang for buck mod you can make to reduce your ET at the drag strip.
I've gone through a few sets of M/T ET streets in my time and have done plenty of low 1.7's and a few high 1.6 60" times with these tyres, so they are fantastic for drag racing.
I've only used this set for approx 10 runs (2 Wed night street meets at WSID), so there's plenty of life still left in these tyres. I've sold my car, so no longer have a need for them.
Don't want to separate the rims and tyres, so please don't ask (unless of course you can find someone to split with).
Cheers,
Brenden

SOLD - pending payment

Apparently also made a comment implying that he would've beaten the Stig's time if it wasn't damp
I don't know how he'll fit his head in a helmet next season given the size of his ever-growing ego these days

:laughing-smiley-014:Don't think you'll be getting in the truck now Brendan !!Haha, wouldn't dream of it mate!

Hi There,
If you want someone in the Hills Area, go to Castle Hill Exhaust, they are in Hoyle Ave just down the road from hills motorsports. They can build you up a system to suit your needs. Speak to Dave or Dale.
Tell them Dave with the R33 Skyline and Black SS ute sent you.
I can also vouch for Castle Hill Exhaust - they did some work on my car previously and the workmanship was of a very good quality.
-
Reduced to $21k. Buy me
-
Still for sale
-
Just thought I'd mention that I'm selling my Series II R33 - see link in my signature below.
Not wanting to sound too much like a salesman, I'll just point out that it's a lot of car for not much more than what you'd pay for a standard late model R33 in the same pristine condition.
Feel free to contact me if you're interested.

Cheers Tommo
I should have another car on the way shortly, so would love to clear out some space in the garage. If anyone is interested, give me a call and make me a reasonable offer. You never know your luck, the worst thing I can say is no...

32psi geez I would hope u have ur internals done.
Where did you get 32psi from???
Car is tuned on 17psi (as you'd clearly see if you looked at the dyno sheet) which is quite safe on a RB25det.
The top line on the dyno graph (solid red) is the power curve - i.e the primary Y axis (left side) = 286rwkw
The lower line (dotted red) is the boost curve - i.e the secondary Y axis (right side) = 17psi
-
Price reduced to $21,500
I've spent well over this amount in mods and tuning, let alone the value of the car itself. This car is good value for the money - it's straight, reliable, has a tonne of power and doesn't attract unwanted attention. It won't dissapoint

McLaren appeal has been rejected - Kimi remains champ
Hope that puts an end to the scandals and controversy...at least for a little while.

Now have a 4.5T truck with a carpet pantech easily capable of holding me + 20 women in the back stacked ontop of each other!
I like your style...
I'll be making the annual pilgrimage down to Canberra again this year as well.
-
Thanks mate
I'll be giving the car it's usual 5,000 km oil and filter change tomorrow morn.
Car is ready for the right buyer - 12 months rego, serviced, nothing more to spend and you get yourself a clean, straight 11 sec streeter
-
Renewed rego for another 12 months (till 11/11/08)
