  1. Nope haven't tried there yet, I guess I could give it a shot. Thanks for trying anyways. Lucas
  2. Yes, I'm running an GTS-t AT in a GTS (N/A) And I can't blame her for the tranny problems, as she has never driven that one, because I don't want her driving it (and getting stranded somewhere) if something does go wrong with the tranny, so for now, she isn't driving anything, because first she can't drive stick, and 2nd, I don't want her driving the GTS-T. I got the GTS-T a while back, and the GTS is my old car. The initial tranny was slipping a bit, just due to the amount of miles on it, and the guy I bought it from drove it kinda rough, so I replaced it with another GTS AT, and it ran great for about a month, but then rather quickly went downhill to being completely undriveable, due to the transmission being totally shot. So it was sitting for a good bit, as I got the GTS-t as soon as the tranny in the GTS started going bad again. Like I said, it seems to be running ok, just I know there's too much ATF in it now, as when I went to lunch today, I came back out, and there was a small pool of ATF in the parking spot under the car. My guess would be that it is coming out the air vent on the tranny, as the tranny gets hot and the ATF expands. Just a thought, don't have any hard proof as of yet, I'll try to take a look at it tommorow. I would greatly appreciate it if you could look that up for me. It would make my life a lot easier, as my options are limited being the gaijing that doesn't speak much japanese. Thanks again, Lucas
  3. No, I'm using the torgue converter that was with the tranny that I put it, what happened is that i did a auto-manual conversion on my GTS-t, and used the auto from the GTS-t to fix my wife's GTS (in which the tranny was totally shot). I already have everything together, and the tranny seems to be doing ok, but I want to make sure that I have at least close to the right amount of ATF in it, as I do not want to have to hunt down another AT.
  4. The expressway in the middle of the night count?
  5. Yeah, that's part of the problem is that I don't speak very good Japanese, and we already did the swap, it seems to be running ok, but i know for a fact that i have too much fluid in it right now, and everywhere I have asked won't tell me, I had one guy tell me 13 quarts, which is like 12.5 liters, and i think that's way way too much, of course mines going to take more then if i was just changing the fluid, as the tranny was totally drained, including the torque converter. A friend of mine said that I might blow my seals with too much fluid in it, but I haven't had any problems so far, just that I checked the fluid, and it has too much in it. Last time I did the swap, I put 4 quarts in it, and the tranny was totally burned up withing a couple months. The only reason I had the spare auto-trannyt this time, is because I did an auto-manual conversion on my GTS-T, and had the auto from that. It seems like the GTS is a little more sluggish, and I figured that was because of the ratio difference, but the GTS is actually my wife's car, and she doesn't need a whole lot of power in the first place. If anyone knows an auto-tranny shop that could help, or knows how much ATF to put in the tranny, I would greatly appreciate some help. Thanks again. Lucas
  6. The pilot bushings are also different, and hopefully you know someone that has a good blind bushing puller, when we did mine, we had to go to a specialty parts store and buy one, if you have one, the pilot bushing comes out in about 1 min.
  7. I was just wondering if anyone happens to know how many quarts of ATF are supposed to be but in a tranny for an R32 Gtst. I already replaced it once, and guess i didn't get enough fluid in it (even though the dipstick said there was enough) because about a month or 2 later, the transmission was totally shot once again. I'm just wondering, because I'm running out of transmissions to put in it. Also, does anyone know if there is a gear ratio difference between a tranny for a GTS and a GTS-t? Thanks in advance. Lucas
  8. My R32 Gtst does the same thing, I've checked the fluid level and everything, but once i get up over about 120-150kph, the hicas light comes on. I'm not really sure what is causing it, and from the looks of things, it's just annoying, and not affecting anything.
