oh ok
im sorry
but i know alot of asian guys, especially chinese that get specific digits for their license plates becuase they mean something in chiense
like 308 mean something like born lucky
etc
hard to explain
but it was jus a theory
so with victorian governemtn restrictions on power levels
which do they rate the kws at?
the flywheel or at the wheels?
are there mods i can do that will not affect performance wise?
mods to keep the car healthier and last longer
ok
so lets make this straight
r33 gts non turbo makes 147kw
and the
r33 gts-t makes 184 kw
is this information correct?
is anyone going to justify this?
hrmz
hrmz
the factory specs for gts r33 is 96kw
i couldn't believe my eyes
96kw with a 6 cylinder 2.5 litre engine
with 1300kg mass
thats way out of proportion
sorry for being a noob
but ive considered getting a non turbo now cos of all these complications in gettin a turbo skyline
anyways
what is the kws for th r33 gts and r32 gts?
and what is the most effective mods too boost this kw up
oh what is the weight of both the models,
ok
well lets
officially the r33 gts-t on factory settings runs at 187kw right
but if you tested it
it wouldn't run directly 187 kw right?
prolly run about 160-170
so it would be legal then.
and witht he boost controller settings. would insurance accept that bcos u can easily just tune it back up hehe so its a bit dodgy but i guess you don't tell them that.
man such a hassle
makes me want to get a crap car like a hyundai excel
makes me so sad
vicroads is like the devil
you must pay your soul out to have something you want
:D
hrmz i know dragging is stupid but i dun want to go there to drag
i jus want to watch
i don't think i'm experienced enough to drag
yes a non turbo but alot of people say i might aswell get the turbo version cos its worth it. I personally am a confident driver and would really love a turbo and it will be a hassle to switch from a gts to a gts-t
Yes i am going for my manual P's. Its just i saw this 94 r33 GTS-T with a real nice gtr body kit and 17" mags with automatic transmission for $10000! Now i thought thats cheap but downside is its automatic. So thats why i wondered if i can change the transmission.
Now i was wondering when i was talking with my friend about this issue. The factory r33 gts-t runs at 8psi so if i bring down the boost to 6 or 7 pis would that bring the kws? and would vicroads accept this type of downtuning?
anyways thanks for replying guys. has given me some insight when i think of purchasing the skyline
i know but this is such a god damn hard decision
it just struck me if i get a gts-t being overpowered the insurance won't cover me right?
but i really really want a turbo
but i want to ask
if i get a gts-t
can i take out the turbo and still use the car as n/a?
therefore i can get insured as a gts i think.
btw when u insure a car do u have to show them the car?
yes
they dickt him for exhaust, low suspension, tinted windows, and P plates not being "visible" enough
i think they even tried to get him for having those racing seat belt straps
road police are so dodgy
might aswell not let us drive till we're 25
don't say that
it's still a skyline
and in my eyes it is as beautiful as a clear summer night
...
lol just babling along
still a nice car.
now just chuck on a ralliart sticker and it'll add an extra 50kw hehe...R I C E!
