  1. 1998 white R34 GT-T Tiptronic

    $13,000

    148k km

    ACT Rego til January 2012

Factory aero kit(front bar, rear bar, side skirts)

    Blitz Front Mount InterCooler

    Apexi Intake + Air Guide

Unichip piggyback ECU and boost control module

Greddy Profec B boost controller + hand controller (hand controller currently disconnected due to Unichip controlling it)

    Greddy boost gauge

    Apexi Turbo timer

    Splitfire Coilpacks

    3" exhaust

    Tein Height Adjustable suspension

    Adjustable tension rods

    Slotted rotors front

    Oil Cooler

MP3 head unit, 4 channel amp and sub

    Clear front and side indicators

Recently installed 4 new tyres, new heavy duty battery and had compression check done showing extremely healthy engine (150-156 across all 6 cylinders).

Last dyno 200rwkw @ 12PSI yet still reasonably economical around town. 400km to a tank around town driving sensibly, less so if heavy footed.

For 7 years has been my daily driver and has never let me down. All services done by the boys at Trojan motorsport every 5k km. Only selling due to replacing with an Evo X. Has been very well maintained and looked after however does show signs that it is 13 years old with some stone chips on the paint and one of the headlights isn't sealed properly causing it to fog up occasionally.

I am in no hurry to sell and definitely not interested in any swaps so please don't even suggest any - lowballers will be ignored.

    Hi-Res pics available upon request.

  2. Spotted a white 34 GTT this morning on Belconnen way turning in to Oconnor. I think I've seen the same one a few times now.

Oh and spotted that fricking foxtel ad at the top being very annoying! Not a fan of the rollover type ads!

Back way through CSIRO to bypass traffic ftw.

  3. 1. What size? 235/45/17

    2. Is your car a daily driver? Yes

    3. What is your car's approx power at the wheels? 200rw kw

    4. How many track days, hillclimbs, motorkhanas do you compete it (or plan to)? 0

    5. How many kms would you travel in a year? 20,000

    Mucho gracias.

  4. Know quite a few of you are using them and rave about them.

Need two new rears and I'm thinking of giving them a try. However I'm not sure which type to get. The car is a daily driver so I'm not convinced I want the RS-R simply because I like having some grip in the wet and I tend to chew through soft compound tyres very very quickly (T1Rs in less than 5k km o.O). I've read mixed reports on the SS so was considering the EVO. Thoughts? Also where best to get them from in the ACT?

  5. In no particular order. Some of my firsthand experiences and issues I've consistently read about over the years (I've had mine for 5 years now):

The tiptronic can be very slow on the upshift, even when you are intimately familiar with when it will and won't upshift smoothly. The downshift is nearly always very fast.

The tiptronic struggles with anything upwards of ~250kw atw without strengthening.

The coils will need replacing at some stage, but that's a given on most skylines.

Your choice of aftermarket ECUs is limited because many don't handle the tiptronic properly.

The insurance is a bitch even when you're bordering 30.

You will go through front brake pads like no tomorrow.

Check the middle brake light for signs of rust as water can and does get in there.

  6. So came back to my car this afternoon to find some lovely little pricks had smashed the window trying to break into it. Thankfully for me, unluckily for others the alarm scared them off and they moved onto other cars. So now I need a replacement driver side window. Any suggestions where best to track one down in the ACT in a reasonable timeframe?
