  1. Hey all, Just a quick newbie hello.. Im from Lismore and I own an r34. Looking forward to tapping into the mountains of awesome info here! :action-smiley-069: Laner
  2. It could be a feature of the alarm but from memory a mates 33 did the same and it had no alarm (ill double check that). Mine locks if I go a short distance and then automatically unlock if i stop the car (before the timer decides it needs to countdown) if the timer does its countdown the doors wont automatically unlock. I guess thats its way to make sure that you dont get out of the car while the timer counts, lock it and walk away only to have the alarm unlock itself.
  3. Now, I know that the auto lock when you drive over a certain speed is a great feature to keep unsuspecting hitchhikers in when your considering a surprise adoption...but...when you stop the car, shouldnt they auto open again? Im finding myself having to flick the unlock button everytime i want to get out. Are my auto locks faulty, or am i just being lazy?
  4. could mods please delete topic? I just found the tutorial exactly like I asked it here on SAU.
  5. I havnt had much to do with the auto 34s but is this steering wheel the one with gear paddles that are featured on some R34s? I can see that it has distinctive silverish buttons on the wheel but they arnt "paddles" but more of a push up / push down type rocker switch. Is this what is used to shif up and down gears in the auto 34's? http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NjgyWDEwMjQ=/$(KGrHqZ,!nYFG2,3hju)BR27wds5qw~~48_20.JPG
  6. Hey everyone, im new to the forum. Ive seen plenty of tutorials and info on FMIC installation into R34's but so far they have all been with Nismo front bars which appear to be significantly different to the standard GTT bar. I havent been able to find any info on the installation behind the standard bar. (if there is could you link me?) Ive mounted the cooler and it seems to need a fair bit of plastic removed from the front inlet dam of the front bar. I know there are definately people out there with FMICs in behind standard bars, Id love to hear your experience or see some pics of the end result. thanks in advance this is the bar im referring to: http://imgc.classistatic.com/cps/blnc/130506/468r1/8887cjg_20.jpeg
