Hey viator, keen to share the name of the new tuner? I will need a good one in the next few months As for Allstar.. LoL My friend had a simular problem with them. Turns out they can not diagnose a mechanical problem for sh1t! They tuned my friends gtst with T04 turbo, Haltech ecu, custom plenum, bigger injectors, bigger exhaust (n a few more mods) and said that it was produducing about 160kw (from what i can recall) at the rear wheels. Him n his mechanic knew there was something not right about this, because you can get more power from a stock r33 engine. It turns out that they did not know what was wrong with then engine, but still tried to tune it. The issue was, the teeth on the camshaft that connects the camgears was warn and made the camgears slip. A good mechanic/tuner would have been able to diagnose this. After getting the camgear issue sorted out and getting it tuned by a propper tuner, the car produced around 400HP Its good to hear that your car is being looked after by someone who knows what thye are doing!

Yup, my story about AllStar was files ages ago... I can tell you I would never go to them. My friend's R33 gtst with Haltech ecu was taken to them when they first opened by the person who installed the ECU. They may know how to tune a car, but if there are mechanical issues with the engine to diagnose, then they dont have a clue... I have never recomended them to anyone and never will. If you dont like their service, you should take it somewhere else and get a 2nd opinion.

Sorry to dissapoint you.. but the PFC D-Jetro for a R33 GTR IS NOT discontinued. You can still get it easy from any retail shop OR online shops form japan.

I have a near new HKS SLD... Its been used once for a trackday I went to, and taken out right after and has not been used since. No scratches or cracks, in mint condition!. Im looking for about $130 posted anywhere in aus...
