  1. I'll take the cam cover - pics to scott.miller@sun.com pls
  2. pics to scott.miller@sun.com
  3. how big are these - IE what AFMs are they for ?
  4. pls check your PM - interested in the injectors
  5. HOLD THE BUS can we get the moderators to DELETE this post if word gets out that this guy has a GTR with only 170kw at the wheels (and he's happy with that) - I'll have every noob in a modified WRX lining up with me for weeks Seriously - I'm seeing 280+awkw with std injectors and a PFC in my R32 GTR (I'm on their limit tho) Get some 2nd hand 440cc units flowed and test and you'll be good to go. BUT - if you want to take advantage of the Nengun offer – and get the 700cc Sards – I'll be more than happy to do a swap with you Also – I agree – get that PFC installed. You'll jump to 220+awkw over night. It WILL transform the car and your driving experience (no down side)
  6. what he said !!! I have an R32 GTR with very basic mods - (pods/PFC/N1s and zorst) so probably about the same level of mods you list for your GTST and I have a lazzzyy 300awkw - all day every day - all at ~1 bar even when you get to 250rwkw+ in your GTST - you can not actually use it chalk and cheese I think the saying goes But be warned - an R32 is an old car (no little old ladies either) - as they say buying the GTR is the cheap part - owning one - now that takes commitment
  7. these are for the RB26 - right ?
  8. still got em ?
  9. Hey - you still got the oil filter kit ?
  10. My mods include full engine rebuild (forged and balanced) R34N1s (I have the .48 A/R exhaust housing – which are the small N1s ) head was ported and polished Tomei adj cam gears Tomei fuel pump 3.5" exhaust with split (HKS style) dumps Apexi PFC Apexi EBC std 440cc injectors std AFMs std FMIC I get 297awkw @ 18psi with bigger injectors, cams and RB25 AFMs – I expect to get to 350awkw easy (may need a new FMIC too) I had R32 N1s with the Blitz Access ECU and was getting ~240awkw I'm still not convinced that the tune will make that much difference . Even before I had the PFC fitted (after fitting the N1s) it was still not what I would call laggy
  11. Well - I have a VERY different experience The trip from 3.5K to 8K is over in a matter of seconds – pulls very hard all the way (I'm pully 300awkw – and it's all action from 3.5k rpm) NO FLAT SPOT AT ALL that could be a tuning issue tho
  12. any chance you could make some of these up for my R32 GTR - I've had RB25 AFMs ready to fit for about 6 months now - but don't have a suction kit the right size
  13. you could also try looking for a remaped ECU on ebay - I just sold my old Blitz ECU to some guy in the US for example
  14. PhilGTR Sorry to take this in another direction – BUT - I must be missing something. The R34N1s are not that much bigger than the std R32s (are they ?) I have an R32 GTR with R34N1s and I'm on full boost by like 3500rpm (well almost ) I do have a PFC now, but also ran them with a Blitz Access ECU and they were fine. I don't think the PFC will be make THAT much difference – I'm no expert tho Do you know the A/R rating of your N1s - are they .48 (some are .60 or .64 too I think) ? Sounds like there is more to your problem that the ECU to me (shrugs)
  15. Hey are these for std size AFMs ?
  16. OK the light flashes 18 times - and acording to the manual that means either a faultly ETS Hydrolic unit or a faulty harness can anyone tell me how to check for each - where is (are) the ETS hydrolic unit(s) for example ?
  17. OK - so even the PFC is too slow ? is this something we just have to live with ? must be a common problem too - yes ?
  18. MY GTR started to hunt @ idle (when warm) after doing an engine rebuild with quite a few mods (new adj cam gears, exhaust, port and polish) retune of the PFC fixed the problem
  19. I'll answer first - just 'cause I'm here If he's just removed the restrictor - on a std GTR that should bring him up to about 14psi. (just under 1 bar I think) I currently get the problem at any level (I have boost pre-sets for 8/10/15/18 psi)
  20. Hmm when I first got my R32 - I used to get this quite badly too. I figured it was fuel related – it seemed to surge (continue to drive or accelerate) when I lift off the throttle at speed (freeway driving). Just by way of a process of elimination for you, I've done a full engine rebuild, new R34 N1s, new plugs, new fuel pump (Tomei), new Spiltfire coil packs, new SX fuel regulator, new fuel filter and I've even had my std injectors cleaned and flowed. (not just to fix this problem – obviously) Since I installed a PFC with the matching EBC - the problem is much better - which is to say that I still get it - but only very rarely, and no where near as bad (the passenger can not notice any more). I told my tuner that I was having this problem (when he was installing the PFC) and he said he could tune it out (he seemed to have heard of this problem b4). The car also used to hunt @ idle (and even stall some times) – but the PFC has fixed that too. So - I suppose what I'm saying - I'd be interested in figuring this out too
