Mark, Registering it as a 2 Seater does not bother me in the slightlest, that was the plan. I know I could just get the Cage, Seat etc. Mod Plated although my reasoning for this question is for the fact that I will be complying it although not registering it straight away (unless you wanna lend me $1000 :lol: ) So as I said due to Mod Plates not being done until after compliance when i am getting a RWC for rego, will I have to take those things out to comply it? I will be looking to get the Laurel complied very shortly, and have a few questions. Where abouts on the Gold Coast would be a good place to go, and what money would they charge to comply a C33? What parts would i need to do it myslef and how much would it cost me then to get it checked over and marked off as complied? The car came in under the old 15 Year rule, will thinks like 8 Point Cage, Bride Seat, etc.... have to come out for compliance? The car has an RB25 with usual mods, will the engine have to be mod plated to be complied? or does that only apply once i am trying to get rwc? Thanks in Advance

If it only happens when you give it a bit of full throttle or even just a bit of a push then completely come off the throttle then it is your BOV. If you have no bov or an aftermarket item then try going back to the stock plumback system. When i blocked off my blow off valve so i was running no bov this happened to me all the time, and after less than a week i gave up and put the stocko back on This information may be completely irrelevant to your situation and i accept no responsibilities to anyones time that has been wasted Thank you

Hmm i was going to sr20 my Datsun 1600, but this article has shed a new wave of light into my modification techniques. I have rebudgeted and the money is now going towards a rear spolier, a bonnet scoop and heaps of schtickers, once tuned correctly i should see 360 awkw, if not i will upgrade side mirrors to chrome items and may contemplating installing led washers, should be good for a high 9.

I mean like while I owned the skyline whenever i drove into broadie/cruises etc. i was welcomed by everyone, which was great. But now when i go to Broadie/Cruises am i going to get evil eyed and called a BOGAN by my ex-aquanticies. I sort of stuffed up when i sold it though. When the bloke (who eventually bought it) came and first looked at it he asked me did i get it sprayed and did i buy the rims and i have no idea why but for some reason i said yes and then straight away thought to myself why did i say that? anyway for the rest of the time i had to go along with saying that i had it sprayed and i bought the rims when in actual fact i bought it like that. Although before anyone else says i lied bla bla bla its the only thing i stuffed up on and have no idea why i said yes in the first place and everything else to do with the car was genuine and true.

You copied my idea, i had a guy off boostboozing pm me a few months back to organise a formal ride for him, i then asked him if any of his mates need a lift, and me melv and my mate reece(32) went up in a mini skyline convoy. It worked out good. Oh and by the way i suggest keeping with the same model skyline as it will make the entrance look soooo much better

Well the skyline went in the trading post today and 4 people had came and looked at it by 4pm and 2 made reasonable offers that im gonna think about so anyway it looks like the skyline will be going sooner than later. I just wanted to thank everyone fror all their help. Everytime i needed to know something i found help in a matter of minutes on these forums. Special thanks to Jason (V8Skyline Man) for offering to help me out by ofering to do some engine work for me for next to nothing and James (MELV) for taking me for a spin in my first GTR and helping me install gauges.
