  1. Today I had my first encounter with exactly the same thing between 5-10% torque showing on the gauge in 1st gear and into the beginning of 2nd... No green 4WD light up on dash either.

Made the car sound like it was working extremely hard but performance was anything but. Didn't at all turn the tyres was probably best described as like a slipping manual clutch sensation...

Ok it had been very lightly drizzling in Adelaide, still I had pictured qtr turn of opposite lock to be the result...?

Only owned NM35 for a couple months...

So is this the normal occurrence

  2. Thought I would share. I think the mounting position turned out good. Would like to see others pics of there mounting positions.{style_image_url}/attachicon.gif IMAG0213.jpg

Cable runs down the gap ,can see & reach the unit, doesn't blockout anything else there either.

  3. Just sent back front set of RDA brand 296mm (doah!) to change for the correct 310mm to suit a 2nd hand set of R34 GTT callipers ive purchased threw just jap after they measured up to a front cut NM35 they had sitting there apparently straight boltup.RDA Dimple drilled & slotted items via ebay also were a very competitive priced for brand new, a new set of Intima SR street/circuit rated pads will bite into them.

  4. The proper (Turbosmart style) ball valves actually work in a similar way as the electronic controller, and they do a great job of holding boost pressure off the actuator until the desired boost is reached.

I still prefer an electronic controller for the simple fact they have an overboost warning, and the ability to run a 4 or 5 port MAC valve.

    Looks good Toby. :)

    Thanks Scott

your help and being available to discuss any entry level issues have allowed for a direct and proven modification pathway.this stops money been thrown away several times on the R & D rollacoaster of fortune or fail...

P.S attempting to knock over as many mods at home here so hopefully theres less time spent on your hoist and whilst At your performance Garage.

Maybe then I can bring the whip and junior along to.

  6. You get what you pay for. Take a look at the greddy profec pdf and you will understand the difference in having full control in cabin vs standing under the bonnet winding a bleed valve in and out. The main difference is keeping actuator held closed via the solenoid allowing a faster ramp to the set total instead of bleeding of via ball valve.

  7. Its set at 15psi craig. The 9 psi is purely due to low/high settings requiring to be installed.

The donor turbo to be highflowed is 7 weeks away from Japan threw Import Monster (why did i click send by ship)

Ill be happy to be on the road until that stage.

I thought it would be an even bigger bag of shit parked up broken.

    Appreciate the feedback tho.

I highly recommend the new Greddy EBC for anyone in shopping for a boost controller.

  8. Greddy Profec installed...

The unit is extremely well made. I had the now low (9psi) & high (15psi) settings adjusted in 5 mins. The fact it has alarm overboost warning aswell a limiter setting is peace of mind.now to fiddle with the other options utilising the bar graph screen layout option to get the best ramp up to preset pressures....

  9. Unfortunately the only thing stoping the new Greddy profec EBC being wired in is me Doahh!

Plumbing run & hidden well but fitting the tiny wires threw firewall proved a daunting task for a excaveman and hence that was as far as the coopers sparkling ales got me.

If theres a simple pic for a simple twit please forward.

Will happily post the Fitout & review of this EBC if I get it running.
