  1. Thanks sam.. ian - nice light painting.. using softbox and constant light? Nick - great attempt. I just dont think it works for this pic. But i know you were just trying this for the 1st time. Dominik - ah coo looking forward to seeing the edited versions.. Meh you dont need any fancy lens for panning shots lol.. Try it with the lens you got now. Dust Storm from today: The orange is natural.. Thats how the sky looked all morning!!
  2. r32_doriftoo - would like liked to see a bit more exposure to the pics. But otherwise its great man Nice skylines!! Passive - After in photoshop.. Some random shots:
  3. ^ incredible. From that to where it is now is just astonishing. I wonder what dslrs will be like in say 10-20 years time!! So did a photoshoot for this s15 the other day.. The client did not want any main photos published anywhere So here is the teaser pic: Probably not even allowed to post this..
  4. ZENNON - Man these are wonderful.. Really like the last one!! well done!!
  5. dodgsun - hahahahahh nice work.. I like the red gel from the bottom. sam - im sorry man something about that pic is just not working A31cefiro - Far out thats an intense fire.. Nice shot!!
  6. Bitaches.. stop being smart asses hahahah.. You all know what i mean
  7. Thought your budget was 1k? Do you really need a 7d to start off with? Just get a 450d, or a 500d and start from there since its your first dslr. I would get those bodies and then get a nicer lens if you really need it. It will never outgrow. Your skills is what makes you stand out. 60% user skill. 40% lens Bodies will last forever..
  8. Nice pics dude R33- ThaT 33 is HOT!!!!!!
  9. Selling my 430EXII flash. Only bought it start of year and in perfect condition. Have box case etc. 350 if anyone is keen. Ta,
  10. If you do go canon path. I got a 430EXII flash for sale
  11. I like that landscape shot ian.. Clone out that sprite bottle tho. Self portrait shot is great
  12. I will be at DA this sunday. If you see me come say hello. I will be the black dude with a white L lens walking around lol..
  13. Haysey - Man thats impressive for point and shoot dude!! nice GoldZilla - You will have loads of fun with that 50mm f1.8!! Wish i still had mine.. But think my next lens will be a 50mm f1.4. Wish i took my tripod to Europe with me. Even a really cheap tripod would have been enough. One thing i regret not taking!! But depends if she is going to take pictures at night?? Then take a tripod, otherwise day time you don't really need it. Otherwise do what i did. Put the camera on top of a bin, tree trunks, side rails.. etc etc.. When i show cased my europe photos to my family and friends, my traveling buddy made me a slideshow showing all the places i rested my camera on to take a photo lol.. Was funny!! Even had it on someones back one time lol.. Anyways.. Manfrotto (however you spell it) tripods are well worth the price So if you wanting a good sturdy damn good tripod look for those.. But be prepared to pay a bit. Some recent shots:
  14. Nice dude.. Your getting better and better at this jay Edit: Congrats man.. Thats excellent news. Hope you get paid or something out of it.. I remember i had a pic published in federal tyres while back and kept asking for a catalogue atleast and got nothing So my advice.. Make sure you get something in return!! Edit2: http://photos.jay019.com/ProjectD_20090809/DSC_5114.JPG ^ NICE!!! awesome perspective.. Well done.
  15. As soon as i get my cokin holders i will give you a pm. I will come to your hood this time if you want. Not to sure when the next model shoot is. Most likely next Thursday in the city. Going for the Urban look with the city lights in the background etc. I got matt mead to come along as well. So if your keen let me know. But the model hasn't confirmed yet hehe go for it mate Thanks for the kind words. However i still think Korys seascape stuff is much better than mine!! Look a few pages back No worries mate. Just thought i would let you know if you did wanna try it again? Yea you did use flash.. You can see it in the pic. Btw if you ever wondered what lighting professionals use in some of these glamour shots, look straight into the eyes of the model. You will see the reflections of either a softbox or a umbrella or other lighting methods.. Sam nice pic mate.. I like the detail in the rocks at the bottom. You always seem to be going to these lovely places!!
  16. GoldZilla - Would you like CC on this coz i feel if you did a few things i mentioned it would have been a killer shot.. esp getting more detail and colour in her eyes. You got off camera flash? Or a reflector? If not, just use those car sun reflector thingys. Bring to the right of the subject (so to the left of the pic). SOme sort of light to the left of her (right of the pic). So the reflector will now shine as a fill light into her eyes. Also focus on her eyes rather than the nose. Move back from the subject a little too. Just thought i would help as this could have been a killer shot.
  17. hahah thanks man.. One more for you all
