my mate got an evo 3 bodykit put on his lancer at montrose panels and it was neat as. cost him like 2.5g i think. hard color. its like a sandy/gold. look out for him in the area...plates 'HOPEYZ' anyway they did a great job. cost him serious $$$ though. thanks for ur tip mate

Hey all VIC users. i bought a bodykit off ebay for my R33 2 door. its brand new and came primed ready to be painted. it needs some little modification before it will fit, i know this because i tried the side skirts. i am only fitting the rear and sideskirts. hey. last night i was drivin home about 10:40pm. i came to stop at a roundabout located in boronia. mountain highway and liverpool road (near the shell servo). another R33 must have reconised i was driving a skyline and did something quite unbelievable. just wanted to know if you surf this forum.

hey i saw a nissan tuner today that specialises in R32,33. 180, 200sx. he recons drill a small hole in the tin i am using to block it off. that way some air gets out but the majority stays in it. would this work? or would the smallest hole let out all the air due to the stock psi i am running?

yeh thats cool, it aint a major safety issue. the fact is my car is running rich, which i dont like the sounds of. i want my car to run normal. i understand 'i want the wank factor, i have to accept the stalls.' ill try new spark plugs. c how it goes.

i have a crazy idea. if i was to run a cold air pipe from the front bar to the pod. would i be force feeding the pod? therefore the AFM is only reading some air..while heaps is going in. then when that 'some' air comes back out due to the blocked off bov and the car adds extra fuel. it will be running close to normal as there is more air in the thing than it knows. sound srupid or good idea?

all i did was put a piece of tin between the stock bov and the manifold its connected too. i left the lil hose on the bov connected as i didnt see the point of disconnecting it and plugging it up if leaving it connectied to the bov would do the same thing. so changing my spark plugs would do it ya recon?

hey all, i followed the diagram on the closed thread about modding the stock R33 bov to make it flutter. and it sounds nuts but i am having problems with my car stalling. it only happens if i bring the revs up and drop them fast. it ALWAYS stalls without fail. e.g. im in first/second gear and i take the revs to 3-4 then push the clutch in. the revs drop to below 1 and it STALLs. its fine if i rev them to 3-4 push clutch in, change gear and let out the clutch. i thought perphaps adjusting my idle would stop it? please help me because i cant leave this flutter on if my car is gonna keep stalling. cheers all

Hey all, i love the sound my apexi pod filter gives my 97 R33 gts-t. however on hot days my car runs much slower. i assume this is because my pod is sucking in all the hot air the engine provides. ive heard about ways to relocate the pod filter to behind the front bar. this interests me alot as i will be getting 100% cold air and i assume that the induction/whoosh sound the pod makes wil be louder to pedestrians. if anyone can give me some tips/suggestions/links i would apreciate it. cheers

i have a series 2 r33 and i was almost beaten by a vn commodore the other day when it was about 32degrees. i was disgusted. however im 95% sure this is because i have a pod filter on my car and it sucks in alot of hot air from the engine. im looking at getting some piping and mounting it to the front bar soon. but overall yes my car does run worse in the heat. i love driving on a nice cool night. so does the car!

hey all, i recently bought an R33 and have been meaning to change the battery but i have been low on funds. i now have the cash and am ready to purchase a new battery. i was told something about the battery having to be a special kind that dosnt release fumes as it is classed as 'in cabin'. my current battery is a regular battery you would put in most falcons/commodores and dosnt fit properly. can anyone please give me some advice on what make/model to get and how much i'll be having to spend. also where to buy. thanks for your help

hi all i just got a series 2 R33 and i have this japanese head unit installed which i dont really like, its to flashy and annoying at night. has way too many lights on it. so my plan is to put the stereo back to stock as the cd/tape cassette that comes with it looks nice. what i am after is the complete unit in very good condition. ie, it looks great (no scratches) and works great (tape and cd work fine) so if you have recently upgraded your sound system in your R33 series 2 and have that old stock head unit laying there. i am happy to buy it off you. im located in vic. please call me on 0433 117 224 or pm me.

hey all, i have a s2 r33 and got slimline plates with it. had the car a week and had to tie the plates on witrh my showlaces at VICroads when i drove off. i can fit the back plate fine but the front needs about 10mm off each side to fit in the indentation on the front bar. if i cut the plates to make them fit im pretty sure this counts as numberplate defacing. i live in montrose and only drive the car on weekends, so its not like im going down chapel street and it'd be hardly noticable. the thing is all i'd be cutting off is the blue lines on the sides. you'd still see VIC and UJB-983. has anyone else done this and been found out? what sort of fine am i looking at? p.s. im in VIC

1996 R33 Gts-t running on bp ultimate. RB25det. manual gearbox VS 1994-95 AUST MADE 200sx S14 running on optimax. SR20 turbo. auto gearbox. both cars stock as rocks. going from about 0-80kph....who would win? and how much by?

Hi i have just got an R33 and it has an aftermarket panasonic head unit in it. after checking out this guide http://r33stereo.groovesystems.net/ i found out that the stock head unit had both tape cassette and cd playback. i really want the tape as i have an ipod with a car kit. i have almost no use for cd's. so if you have recently upgraded your sound system in your r33 and have the stock head unit sitting there i am happy to buy it off you. i live in montrose vic. head unit must be in very good order. look and playback wise, im not interested in faulty units please pm me or give me a call. im looking at buying this saturday 30th if possible.

yeh i have 2 cars now. and r31 and an r33. the r33 is getting rego'd tomoz and im gonna drive it straight home and park it. drive the r31 until im off my p's. i'm only driving the r33 once but assuming i get pulled over and the cop is a prick and dosnt believe me when i show him its just been rego'd and im driving it straight home, what will he do? anyone have p plates on their r33 in vic?
