No problem, oil pressure is made by oil pump. Just a bit of mess from a little oil. It stalls due to the way the crank case ventilation works with the intake, vacuum system, so more air getting into vacuum system (eg oil cap off) without fuel to compensate will cause engine to stall?, as well as idle control going WTF is all this extra air after throttle body.

I manage to keep most Rexes honest in the wet, and the dry.....90% of the time. Grip would have to be the big one and how your car puts power to the ground.

I've taken the transfer case off my busted gear box. Definately possible only with gearbox out of car. Once you see the bolt and roll pins you have to remove in top of transfer case opening you will see what I mean. 1/2 hour job to pull apart with basic tools.

Maybe compressor hitting housing or it's belts. check the belts for play, stick head under bonnet and listen for noise.

Two different power runs on the same graph. Green lines, power 282kw and 452Nm of torque, (18 PSI??????) Blue lines, roughly 210kw and 350Nm of torque.(stock boost??) Just my thought on the graph.

Depends on power output too, extra heat etc. Put a kit on my R and it drops oil temp up to 15 degrees as it used to sit on 90, or more if I gave it some for a while. Good upgrade I thought.

'the earlier model gtrs are push type i think up to 91-92 are push type 93 and up are pull' yep, something like that. It's usually the labour that bites you.

One of the HPI dvds had their R34 GT-T project car blow one up on a track day but they were sort of expecting it to after all the mods they did. Was funny though. On guy who lives near me has a NOS system on his GT-T and the stock turbo is still hanging in there.

At least you'll never have that problem with N1's!! Interesting that nissan also had nylon compressor wheel and ceramic turbine wheel on the r34 GT-T.

Definately injectors, and some dump pipes and front pipes while your at it if the budget allows. Power FC if the piggy back can't be tuned. Treat your gbox with respect and give it new oil and hopefully it should last okay. Got a decent clutch???

Either change tyre diameter or take the speedo out and change the calibration resistor in the back of the speedo. HPI magazine had an article on it a couple of issues ago on their R33 GTS 4 door with RB26DETT project.

Go a chrome plated block for that reflective, shiny effect!

T28's are pretty common and the one's I have are R33 N1 bush bearing. The problem is that the bearings are worn out and at around $800 plus to get fixed (rebuilt each) is too expensive. Does anyone know where I can get a hold of these bushes or T25/28 rebuild kits?? I have the tools and workplace equipment to do it myself. Cheers.

I have found that in the absence of a wiring diagram a digital multi meter is your best friend for finding bat, acc wires, etc, and speaker wires (3.4ohms).

Got me a red Kyosho R32 GTR as well for $99, same colour as my car. Love the detail. I actually pulled out the space saver spare and it's just like the real one. It lives with my 1:18 1991 bathurst winner GTR.

Wasn't true last time I went and S.O.O was on. Soo many cars, managed only 4 or so runs. I thought everyone would be watching but the car comes first!! for most.

speedo is electronic so the needle mechanism is sticking like some older cars I know. Pull out to fix, not sure what to use to free up bushing for the needle though. Know what I mean?
