SAUQld has had 25+ NEW members join our ranks in the last 6months. WELCOME guys!! This got us thinking... We need to meet the NEW folks! A BBQ, get the bonnets up and chat about our beloved machines. It's a great chance for the NEW guys to meet some of the OLD guys (not just Noel). Join us for a BBQ Breakfast. Once we've had a chat, we'll cruise from Cleveland via Mt Cotton, ending up at the Gabba. The Cruise will end at the Broadway Hotel with an optional Pub Lunch WHEN: Saturday 29th March 2008 – only 1 DAY away, so put it in your calendar NOW!!! MEETING PLACE: Cleveland Point Park (see the map) EVENT SCHEDULE: - 9am to 10.30am - BBQ Breakfast – eat, meet and be merry - 10.30am to approx 12noon – Cruise via Mt Cotton, ending at the Gabba - 12noon – Lunch at the Broadway Hotel (optional) ** New Members, bring along your membership card for a free sausage and drink! EVERYONE IS WELCOME. Hope to see you all there. If your thinking about joining the club, come along to meet the guys. MEMBERS, if you plan to join in, please post here NON MEMBERS, if you plan to attend, Post in this thread Cheers! _______________________ ** FINAL UPDATE – Friday 8.30pm Rain - We only plan to be at the park for 1.5 hrs. There is some shelter, but it’s not going to hold 50 people. Bring a brolly if you must! Entry and Exit to Cleveland Point – The speed is 50km. DON’T SPEED!!!!!!!!! No skids, no hooning... you know the drill. There will be a SAU Banner on display. We don't want any bad press about Skylines or the Club. For the Cruise – directions will be given out at Cleveland Point. If the roads are wet, drive SAFELY, increase the gap between cars, it's not a race... you know the drill. ** Remember, New Members that joined in the last 6 months, bring along your membership card for a free sausage and drink! pear replied to STATUS's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Hi Haines, thanks for the reply. I've had another look at the wiring, visual inspection only, but it looks ok. Next step is to get it tested. I've attached pics of wiring and EMU setup. If anyone what to comment, please feel free Cheers Pic___Ign_Wiring01pdf.pdf ScreenShots_of_Setup01.pdf -

E-manage Ultimate (emu) 56k Beware (screen Shots)
pear replied to STATUS's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Thanks for the reply. The wiring looks ok (to me), the car runs ok, but the error log and flashing red light on the EMU continues. My software on the laptop is v2.16, I'll check what is loaded on the EMU when connected, but I think it's up to date. I'll PM you a config printout (pdf), if you wouldn't mind having a quick look. cheers. -

I had a look at some of the wiring today (before I ran out of daylight) The Ign Input Ch1, 2 and 3 looked to be wired correctly (according to the EMU wiring instructions) I did find about 6 wires that weren't connected, but they didn't seem to be related to the ignition. I look some photos so I could go back and double check... still scratching my head! -

unfortunately, I didn't do the wiring... the car drives fine. is it possible that this wires haven't been connected to the main harness? (may be a stupid question, sorry) -

Hi Guys, My EMU was installed & tuned by a workshop, but the guy who did the work is away at the moment. 1st time I connected my laptop to the EMU, I spotted a huge error log. Any ideas? my car is an R34 GTT (manual). Great video mate! hang in there, the next event won't be too far away

Just a quick heads up... The Events Committee met Thursday night to discuss the planned activities for 2008. We'll be looking to setup a vote/poll where members can select their preferred activities. Regular events are all on the cards - Dyno Day, Cruises, Skidpan, Track Day, Show n' Shine, etc. We'll be looking to see how many are interested in attending Drag and Drift events. Plus, there's a few new events/ideas in the pipeline. We'll be looking to start the initial Polling asap. (that sounds bad... it won't hurt!) We're open to ideas and are looking for members to express their desires (SAU Club/Event related other desires can be posted in the Whoretown) A number of the events will be open to BOTH SAUQLD Club members and the SAU community in general Cheers, The Events Committee

Is URAS around? I send a PM but didn't hear back
-
thanks again, the reason behind my question... these 3 shops are Greddy/Trust dealers. As some of you know, I've recently purchased an emanage Ultimate. was thinking to get it installed by a dealer, as the 'safer' option (internal support from dealer to greddy, etc). I'm in Sydney Jan/Feb, getting Croydon to do it is the other option.
-
thanks guys!
-
thanks Paul, i have sent him a PM. In time, I'd like to compare maps, settings, etc with other 34 owners. but obviously the EMU still isn't being used much these days. still, if anyone knows anyone, send me a pm. cheers mavric

anyone? should I edit the 'I'm from Brisbane'
-
anyone else know of 34s with EMU?
-
Hey Guys, I'm from Brisbane, I'm yet to track down an owner (or a tuner) that has knowledge of EMU. I travel to Syd & Melb on a regular basic, and keen to speak to any 34GTT owers that have an EMU installed. I have a few questions specific to the GTT (manual) installation & tune. any contact would be great - PM or post here.
