Does anyone know if the RB25 uses the same mounts as an RB20 for engine and gearbox, I think they do but I can't confirm it. I have heard that the FJ20 models do need a change in cross members. It was covered some time ago, a quick search should bring it up.

Both my conversions were previously L20ET, I didn't change the mounts or crossmember or Gbox crossmember, everything bolts straight in using original mounts, just have to get the driveshaft shortened. The L20 crossmember and mounts are different to the L24. Assuming the RB25 uses the same cross and mounts everything should bolt straight up.

What engine did you have in it?

Try searching for them on www.importmonster.com.au I have had a lot of success buying hard to get parts for my R30 of these guys, including a aftermarket front bar

Have done it twice now to HR30's.

Spotted a Black R34 GTR Vspec in Merewether today, looks sweet. Have also seen it in a driveway at Kahibah I think? -
Well sorry for being so soft on the poor kid Dennis!!! And if you want to get technical the R32 came out in 1989, but it is still not considered a classic.... yet.

Pics are always good (if you have the time that is!!)

Are you serious? 1: This is the CLASSIC SKYLINE section which none of the cars you mentioned above fall into the that category. 2: Do a search all the info is on this forum somewhere. 3: Modifying a car isnt as easy as just slapping in some torque distribution and a couple of turbos, I suggest you stop playing Gran Turismo and actually work on a car before taking on a monumental project to end up with "top performance".

Yeah go for it, looks sweet

Cool, pics are working again. We still have no idea what they are though. -
I'm also interested in the whole seat rail thing. Does any other seat rails bolt into the R30, I have a recaro I want to put in and it doesn't match up to the standard rail very well.

Can you repost the pics, they aren't showing up. -
Hey everyone, I am helping my mechanic shift some parts that are cluttering up his workshop and came across these little beauties (pics below). They don't have any markings on them at all but appear to be really high quality fully adjustable coilovers to fit a GTR (not sure what model I forgot to ask). Has anyone seen these before, do you know who makes them? I am not trying to sell them here (but if anyone wants to make an offer please pm me) I am mainly after some info on them.

I haven't used slidewize before so can't comment, I have emailed them a couple of times and didn't find them very helpful though. I have used import monster ( www.importmonster.com.au ) to get a front bar from Japan for the R30 and I rate them very highly. Plus for the record the RB series is very easy to put in the R30 chassis, everything bolts into where it should so there isn't much engineering to do, if you wanna go putting toyota or mitsu engines in them go for it, but at the end of the day an RB will give you less headaches and you will get the job done quicker.
