ok i worked it out. lol thanks for your input. i'll be installing the switch next weekend if i get around to it lol i just took my car for a spin without a key. kinda scary that its so easy to steal our cars. made sure my alarm / immobiliser was fitted back on properly. lol cheers Guesty

Hey peoples. i wasn't sure where to post this question, so sorry if it aint supposed to be in here lol. anyhow, i'm always getting attention from cops in my r33 even when i'm obeying every road rule. its really been getting to me lately so i've decided to convert my skyline into a track only car. no more street use. well maybe for the odd sau cruise lol. With that in mind, there's quite a few things i'm wanting to do to my car. Unfortunately im having trouble with something, as always. haha I wanna delete my key. install a pivot push button start on it. usually with a push button start though u still use ur key, turn it to on, then push the button. to me this seems stupid. lol. i'd rather no key at all. Can someone please inform me how to do this...? today i unplugged the back on my ignition assembly where the key goes in and tried to start it without my key. kind of worked. well i got the car to try kick over but couldn't. i was also able to get accessories to work. but i couldn't power "on" when using the key, turning the car to "on" activates the fuel pump. without the key i couldn't manage to do this. i'm stumped as to why not. My assumption is, if i can work that problem out. i can install a push button start without a key. If someone could solve this problem for me it'd be much appreciated. Regards, Guesty

ok so i have finally discovered the cause to all my problems. when i replaced the master cylinder it allowed me to build pressure in the pedal after bleeding. therefore my master was stuffed. only thing was, this didn't fix the main problem. i still couldn't put the gearstick into gear. i checked my pivot bolt, it was obviously fine. a couple of stressful hours passed then i went back and tried again. i found the source of the problem, my "clutch pedal bracket" had snapped. quite severely. i've since bought a nismo reinforced pedal bracket and hope to fit it in a couple days. hopefully that is all thats wrong lol.

hey peoples ok so my r33 gtst is causing me nothing but grief atm this is the story so far. My gearstick started getting REALLY stiff, became extremely difficult to force it into gear and quickly became impossible. my clutch pedal was quickly becoming weak and had no tension or response to it you put your foot down on the clutch pedal, let it go and the thing pretty well, stays on the floor. this is wat i've done so far to try and overcome the situation. 1. first i drained and replaced all the gearbox oil. 2. replaced my slave cylinder with a brand new one from nissan 3. bleed my clutch cylinders, got pretty much all of the air out of the system problem is, none of this has helped. i still have no pressure on the pedal. i've scouted for any leaks in the master and slave cylinder lines. cannot find any. if i dont touch the car for a couple days the clutch fluids remain the same so i assume they're not leaking. my only other thoughts as to the problem are: 1. the master cylinder is faulty which i doubt or 2. The Clutch Pivot bolt on the clutch fork is snapped. My question is... Does anybody know the problem? has anyone experienced this and fixed it? is there anyone around the eastern suburbs of melbourne who could come look at it for me? please help, i'm stumped atm and i'm sick of driving my work car on the weekends lol thanks, Guesty
