  1. Yes they sure did, i will go get a new allignment this week as well. I could of gone lower but the fronts would probably rub. Car handles nicely. Post some full body pictures of the car soon!
  2. the blitz front pipe..... An inch lower on the rear and about an inch and quarter lower on the front (just the rear pic for now)
  3. Front mount and intake installed, played with some ride height tweaks tonight, will finalize a height i am happy with tomorrow.
  4. busy past week, which made waiting for parts fly by. stuff arrived! and another pic
  5. the wheels in the rear poke out a bit yes But funny we are on this topic, I got the all the guards rolled today! I will get around to lowering the car back down now....it was up high because of our out of province inspection laws the car must pass to be road legal here in Canada. If the wheels in the rear end up being to tight to the guards I can always take off the hub centric wheel spacers.... I will post new pics of the changes soon
  6. actually the are very up right, the shot makes the car look like that (wide angle lense)
  7. ok good to know, thanks for the info advice! I have a cat back exhaust already, just need to add a high flow cat in likely.
  8. On order *Blitz FMIC *Blitz intake kit *Blitz downpipe
  9. we do have E85 over here, a place opened up last week that is selling it now!
  10. Nistune is on order should be here in a couple weeks Our winters can be sketchy, but the R34 wont see any rain or snow, it will be stored.
  11. Hey everyone, I live over in Vancouver Canada and wanted to share with you my 1998 R34 GTT coupe. Its been in hiding for a bit, but finally parts arrived, repairs and routine maintenance were taken care of, and back to inspection the car went. This time it passed perfectly, not a thing needed, and not an issue was made with the car. The car came over in pretty good condition, was a grade 4. I spent about 3 days bringing the shine back into the paint, cleaning up emblems, door jams, under the hood etc. at home waiting....for monthssss repairs done, maintenance complete, time for alignment.... inspection time, but first some pics of the new brakes inspection passed, no plate yet, storage insurance for now. Fully insured and legal, went for a nice drive through the mountains, such a pleasure to drive this car. As for mods go the car is very stock, only mod it had was a HKS 3" high power cat back when I got it. But since I had to do a couple repairs I upgraded things while I was at it. The car now has BC Racing 30 way adjustabe coilovers, stage 3 clutch, splitfire coilpacks, drilled+slotted rotors, 18X8 in the front and 18x10 in the rear (OZ racing 3 piece) The motor was compression tested and leak down tested here Canada couple months ago, numbers came back really good 175-180 all cylinders, and there was pretty much no percentage of pressure change in the leak down either (very happy to have a healthy motor) Most likely I will grab a tune shortly, a nistune one. But first I might go ahead and get a intake, intercooler, and open up that downpipe and remaining exhaust.
  12. Quick pics up. No major plans for it at the moment, i need to get new front and rear rotors so I am looking at the XS series from DBA. Likely a tune in the future and a front mount.
  13. Hello all this is my 1998 R34 GT-T that i imported into Canada. I just Brought it back from the shop after some maintenance. I was happy to hear the motor results came back strong with 170-175 compression across the board, leak down test was anywhere from 0-5% at the most. The car was a grade 4 from Japan, no rust, no accidents, and no modifications besides a cat-back exhaust. I recently added the wheels it has now, forged OZ racing 18x8 in the fronts, 18x10 in the rears. The car also also has coilovers but they are adjusted to stock height to help pass inspection over here in Canada for now. It was raining when I brought it back home so excuse the car being a bit wet.
  14. My only concern they are not preloaded from the factory is that even though the springs are snug I can still twist all of them. If the springs were actually preloaded they shouldnt move at all since the 4mm preload would not allow any movement.
  15. I got my set today for my R34 GTT, checked to make sure everything wasn't loose and so on. Did some researching and I find some people (not necessarily skyline owners) will pre-load their springs? If you have done this, is it necessary or is it one of those adjustments you can make if you dont like the ride quality it has out of the box? Thanks
  16. Anyone used these before on their rb25det neo? Are they a direct replacement? http://www.deatschwerks.com/products/fuel-injectors/sport-compact/nissan/350z-370z/2003-12-350z-370z/21s-05-0440-6-detail Thanks!

  18. Was able to look over things again. My power steering reservoir is completly full still :s but oddly fluid is still under the car. I think i will bleed the system again to see whats up, where the leak orginally was doesnt seem to be leaking anymore either.
  19. Is the pump compatible to my r34 gtt? Getting a new used one off a r33, but want to be sure. Thank you!!
  20. Is an r33 rb25det pump the same as the pump in the r34 rb25det neo?
  21. It has to be the air coming into the pump. The system was bleed once i figured it was fixed, but possibly air is still in there. Gonna take another swing at it this week. Thanks all.
  22. I have tried to fix a pretty substantial leak from one of my power steering pressure hoses off the pump for the last week. I thought it was fixed, then after some driving the leak appeared again. The pump is making some serious noise at idle and it chatters now but when I drive the noise is pretty much non existent and the steering works fine. There is a good amount of fluid the car, and underneath everything is soaked again though. So I figure instead of trying to solve this leaky hose mystery I am about due for a new or used power steering pump. Who else has ran into similar problems with their power steering? and where could I find a used pump? Thanks!
