nope the 3 inch front pipe is fine, you might want to relace the cat with a 3" or bigger hiflow. because your going 3" dump -> 2.5" front pipe -> std 2.5" cat -> 4" cat back. replace the parts thats restricting flow.

hmmmmmmmmmm i drove 6000k on base map power fc. did 600k per tank. however i had to fill up on 95 ron petrol, the car knocked alot when acellerating from 3000 - 3500rpm or when i droped it into 4th to overtake and knocked alot at about 4000 rpm. being in america you will be using 91 ron or 95, so i might wait to get it tuned properly first before you put the powerfc in. so they can tune it to your petrol as it was originally meant to be run on japan petrol of 100 ron. the stock cpu will just make your car run rich to stop it from knocking. Im back on the stock cpu until i can afford to get a proper tune. :-) my 2 cents

the boost gauge? is it electric one or normal. My boost guage hose is fairly big, so when i did mine. I ended up drilling a hole next to the master cylinder. Then ended up mounting the boost gauge on the a pillar as low as i can with the pillar gauge.

Dont leave your hand controller in the summer sun / dash. LCD screen will go really dark. leave it in the glove box when not driving.

standard intercooler is a beach to take off..... you have to take the front bar off. the car was a 4 door r33 gtst with a body kit.

Cooler support at the top is just another two bolts. Well makes me want to spray my name on cooler just to make it worth less to potential theifs. well they did take his BOV, POD, Bleed valve from the engine bay. It sets him back $1000 and he's still paying it off like most of us do and a day looking around Syndney for parts. well anyways he went and got all the parts today as it happened yesterday. ohhh yeah, someone also stole his digital camera from this Pram while shopping in Liverpool Westfields also with his kids. so he's got a string of bad luck at the moment.....

My cousin got his intercooler stolen in broad daylight. it was a hybrid 600x300x75, the only thing that was hold the intercooler up was the support bracket at the bottom and the inlet/outlet hoses. ie 4 bolts.. they also took his BOV, 2 bolts bleed valve and pod filter.............. Not happy chappy, cant go fishing this weekend must be pros cause its hard to pop the bonnet with a screwdriver.

Go the Hume you cant get lost...... fill up in sydney ( liverpool ) then head towards canberra, do not take the canbera exit. livo - albury is about 550km can fill up along the way at truck stops. albury petrol is expensive. once you past Albury, its a very long straight road. becarefull of cops sitting in the divided behind bushes.

ohh yeah its embarrasing going though maccas, car parks and toll boths. went threw the m5, opened the door and threw 5 coins at once and they all went in and the toll booth guy said " great shot, thats was a five shooter"

ahahahaaa had the same problem...... kinda fixed it what i did was take the door trim off..... then where the buttons are for the doors/windows disconnect that. trace it back to this little black box about 2x3x6 long. unlug it and take it off the door ( two screws ) then open it up. Mine ended up cracking, but cause its hard to take it off without breaking. inside you will see a cicruit board with two coils. Clean the contats by sanding it down a bit to clean it. * mine i had to move the resistors and capasitors abit, cause it worked when it was at a certain angle * so just move the components just a bit to see if you have any dry joints. its working now, but for how long i dont know. tempory fix. if anyone knows where to get it from new and how much, please let us know.

stone chips very little.................. just dont drive behind anyone thats all, especailly 4wd, trailers and trucks and dont tail gate them either or when they are pulling to the curb. Wait a fair bit back so you wont pick up all the stuff they pick up and theres plenty of overtaking oportunity. You will cop a fair bit of Bug.

Well she made it there and back in one peice again. not much issues with the car except for " no good fuel between - Rocky and Mackay on the highway. knock sensor in powerfc hit 197 at one point where i put in 95 Ron petrol and aclerating from 2800 to 3400 RPM, backed off straight away........ was a pain trying to overtake with engine light constantly flashing if accelerating too hard. fuel economy - OK 11-12 litres / 100 km.

Where abouts is the map sensor driving the indash boost meter ?

if you have a power fc, you can set the rev limit to 3k before boost kicks in.
