  1. So I ended up reusing the pull gearboxes bell housing onto the push transmission, zero problems swapping over.
  2. Thanks guys for the info. Honestly the clutch is 300km away from brand new so Id prefer to keep it, esp with the Canadian dollar being so bad right now in the market. Ive found 3 trans so far and all of them are push sadly. Tap the 2 holes, swap the front plate and bobs your uncle.
  3. Currently I have a pull transmission. If I get a push transmission, am I able to swap the bell housing/input housing, to retain pull style clutch? I have a nismo twin plate coppermix and I would rather not have to buy a push clutch. I see tonnes of pull to push conversions but not vice versa. Thanks guys!
  4. So to pull the pump, its held on a bracket [see pic] that slides upwards, this is on the front inside. Size difference is obvious lol Put in a Nismo R34 GTR pump as the GTT version doesnt flow enough for what I need. It is a tight fit and some modification is required. Ended up: Trimming the feed line above the pump just below the upper notch as the pump is way taller. Cut the size of the sock tube to put it roughly in the same place as the OEM pump sock. Trimmed a bit of the bottom of the bracket [sock wont line up to bottom slot due to pump being wider] Worm clamped it to the side of the bracket. Trimmed one of the insulation tabs due to it pressing against the tank. At this point Im hoping it doesnt make too much noise being against the tank, but only time will tell. The good news is the connector fits right into the lid so no need to swap connectors, left the smaller ground alone as I have previously read it is not req for install. I have the tomei pump relay harness which will be installed soon to skip the modulator. Didnt know that some R34 GTR's have the battery in the trunk so I will be running a wire after the fuse to the back of the car and grounding the negative.
  5. Thanks guys, will be on my list for this weekend.
  6. Just went to install my pump on the weekend and I popped off the lid. I havent drained the tank yet but the pump looks far down, Im not even sure Ill be able to change it. [This is while having myself squashed in the trunk to take a peek lol] Took a look under the car and to drop the tank it almost looks as if you will need to drop the sub frame. What does everybody do here? Im going to try draining the tank and sticking my arm in but it looks like itll be a pain in the arse. Thanks guys!
  7. Ive gone to a Trust twin 20G setup and the turbos do not have coolant jackets. Ive seen a few different setups but wondering what you knowledgeable lot will recommend for me. [Did a search. If there is an applicable thread that I missed, sorry!] 1) Run the line from the back of the head, Y pipe it with the block feed and run it to the front [upper rad hose entry] 2) Run the line from the back to the front while plugging the block feed. 3) Run the line from the back to the block feed while plugging off the front. 4) Plug everything. Right now my mind is set on doing it #1 but Im open to ideas. I have seen these all recommended online, so Im a little curious. Any advice is much appreciated, thanks guys.
  8. Should of mentioned R34 GTR** OEM wing stands sorry.
  9. WTB as stated in title, OEM only, no aftermarket. Colour does not matter. Thanks.
  10. I ended up grabbing a HKS Hi-Power 409 85mm exhaust specifically for 4 door R34's from RHDJapan. Code is: 31006-AN016.
  11. If I can find that I will post it up here, thanks for the heads up!
  12. Hi guys, new member here! I am currently stock piling parts needed for my 20g twin setup on the rb26 in my 4 door and the current exhaust on the vehicle is insufficient. I know HKS makes a 85mm catback for the 4 door, are there any other companies that make them? Have found that many people go the custom route for these models so I am guessing they are not too common. I have tried to differentiate the exhaust bends and length from an R34 GTR but am having a hard time finding accurate pictures. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
