  1. I have a rb26dett and removed oem oil block. I installed a greddy sandwich plate, and now my oil pressure before my oil filter is as much as 140 psi. Way too much pressure for my liking. I would like to remove the blind plug blocking the bypass gallery and install a bypass valve. I wanted to know how people have gone about removing the plug. I was thinking about drilling into the plug and trying to twist/pull the plug out, but I have no idea how thick the plug is / if I'll have enough force to remove it since it's wedged in the block. My engine is in the car, so drilling maybe half way into the plug is my only option. Anyone who has any experience removing these blind plugs, your help would be much appreciated. Thanks
  2. Running a single turbo on a rb26dett, anyone ever vented the crankcase through the rear turbo oil return. I was thinking about tying it together with the rocker cover breather hoses and then to a catch can and either going to atmosphere or running a hose back to the intake. to create some vacuum in the crankcase. What do you guys think? I'm just wondering if i'd be sucking oil up instead of just pressure.
  3. Talking about blowby and catch can set ups....I was wondering how the Integrated Motorsports R34 GTR and Steve Ka/Powertune R34 GTR got rid of the bleeder hoses coming off the valve covers? Makes the engine bay look a shit load cleaner. I know the JGTC rb26dett's were very similar, so my guess is the dry sump oil system. If anyone has some info or other ideas let me know.
  4. My buddy and I recently completed a r32 rb26dett swap into a s13 coupe chasis. The car as been running rough and just doesn't sound right ignition wise (even with brand new spark plugs and ignition coils). I know you have the 6 pin connector going to the ignition chip and a 3 pin connector with power, ground, and timing coming from the ECU. I don't remember exactly why, but we never hooked up the timing wire that goes to cyl. 1 and 6. So only power and ground make it to the ignition harness. So only power and ground are making it coils. I know the ignition chip is sending the signal to each coil to fire, but could the lack of the timing wire coming from the 3 pin connector be causing me a problem with my ignition and overall performance? Thanks for your time and i've been searching but can't find any real information on the topic. Any info would help.
