  1. Hey guys,

Secured a power fc a long time ago (when they were still being made!).

Anyhow, never got it tuned and have now sold the car so it has to go.

I bought the powerfc second hand with a hand controller also but it didnt seem to work,

I think it may be the wrong hand controller for the ecu.

All I ever did was install the ecu and drive it around the block once.

Now I have these items for sale. would prefer not to split.

    * An apexi power fc to suit an r33 gts-t

    * An apexi electronic boost control kit for the ecu (never used, still in box)

Not on here often guys so would prefer contact via phone.

    Asking $1000

    Located in brisbane,

    Call or sms: 0407 659 590

  2. I hope your aware if you said anything to incriminate yourself at the time of being pulled

over it will be used against you and I think you'd have trouble backing away from that.

Anything you said me be brought up in court, and it was when I went...

Sounds like you have a strong case, though I would have gone and seen the officer who booked you for it

or maybe he's supervisor and told him the story. The police arent THAT scary.....

  3. Hmmm it was working perfectly before the accident are you sure you have wired it up correctly ??? How have you wired it up is there a existing wiring harness there for the light up garnish or did you have to run a set of wires i am unsure on how there wired up.

Hang it was quite dull and hard to see during the day you could only really see it when it was dark with no head lights on it try that and let me know.

I used a 12V minilab to test (tried both polaritys since there was no obvious marking on the wires)

    Ill try at 2moro night.

  4. it should also be noted since this is a tutorial that this modification is illegal and cannot be engineerd legal. also R33 projectors will work very poorly with HIDs as evidenced in your 2 last pics. poor cut off, big hot spots and some nice glare. they will be very annoying to all other road users and provide you with quite poor light.

Hmm. Those pics are pre-adjustment and the lights are shinning on the hill. After I adjusted them up a little, theres no doubt in my mind they give off better light. Haven't used my high beam since installing them and as yet have not been flashed by anyone. Even though I think they would be slightly brighter to oncoming traffic, I dont believe they are too bright at where I have them.

  5. Not sure if this has been asked but I don't have time to read through 21 pages so...

Can the 3 or 5 pin harness for the boost reading work on any pfc or just the d-jetro? Also, what else do I need to hook it up apart from this harness? Vacuum hose etc??

    hello stranger

    :P Small world isnt it!

Im quite sure you can use the boost reading on any pfc. I know mine is 3 pin and the socket is on the back somewhere. In my pfc boost controll kit it came with the sensor, which is wired in and hooked up to the manifold pressure. Im unsure of the signal type this sensor uses and what else you could use but i imagine there'd be something else out there. . . .

  6. yeah it's not some backyard job... I get my painting done at a proffesional spray painters...

Depends what you mean by special really... I don't know if I have made a special one just yet... been busy in life and stuffs, hopefully one will get made in the next few months after I move (again)

Well that makes mine cheap as! :whistling:

$350 for everything, $50 less if you can get a good series 1 (clear) facia to me

    Piccies?! :nyaanyaa:

yeh? thats not to bad i guess. Are yours LED or EL sheeting?

and if they are LED, the individual lights dont stick out like dog balls do they?

    Cheers.

  7. They are very white for 10,000k.

Its hard to compare different kelvin ratings as some 8000k kits are very blue and some 10,000k kits look the same as some 6,000k kits out there.

A quick search on google you will be able to compare different branded kits and you will see there is a big difference in the colour, of the same kelvin rating.

I think ill get the 6,000k off Slide. Nice tutorial BTW but i dont think cutting the wires was needed.I have installed a few kits with no cutting what so ever.

hmm. It will be interesting to see how you do it without cutting the wires. I had quite a think about it and though that taking the chop was the neatest option.

    Thanks for the feedback.
