Hey guys. Can I run 264 9.00mm lift hks cams 2202 RN175 with standard valve springs. Where could I get these cams in Australia?

Ill continue with the build. Had a falling out with a so called mate who was painting the car. one door, the boot, the front bar and side skirt still had to be painted. One sunday I thought I would put the painted door on and BOOM. I was devoed. Got another painter to come out to have a look and he was not impressed with pretty much the whole car so he said to fix it properly the whole car will have to painted again. so we got sanding and its ready to be painted. Just getting stuffed around a little bit with getting a boot. In the mean time I have been getting my engine ready. Got a new gates timing belt kit. Sold my cams. and I need new engine mounts aswell. Got RB26 engine covers and got them dipped in lepored print. Jus need new engine mounts and to get my manifold and rear housing HPC coated.

hey guys im putting my new plenum on yesterday afternoon and notice 3 holes on the underside of the runners. here is a photo of whats supposed to go there? a few people have said you don't need it. Can I jus block the holes.

I gave camtech a call today and they said go with 268 cams exhaust and intake and 9.00mm lift. I hope my car has springs in it. if it doesn't would my motor still hold up?

I know a fair few guys with 25s with no vct jus cams. Whats the biggest lift you can go with stock valves an springs? I would cut a hole in the cam gear covers but my covers are way to nice for that.

stupid reason I am deleting it cuz i have bought 26 covers and got them dipped. so I dont want to cut a hole in the cam gear cover

Hey guys. Long story short I have decided to delete VCT out of my RB25. At the moment I have HKS cams in it and a HKS adjustable cam gear on the exhaust side. So I need a new cam on the intake and another cam gear. The Problem I have is when I bought my motor I was told it had aftermarket valves and springs in it. but the old owner of the motor didn't know to much. So now im going to get a new set of cams im not sure what I should do. Is it worth taking the head to see if it has valves and springs and if it does I can go bigger cams or should just slap the same size cams back in it but non VCT. Just want to hear people opinions on the situation? Thanks

Hey Guys. New to the forum. Thought I would start up a build thread. I did have a RB25 S13. It got taken of the road So I thought I would sell the shell keep the motor and look for a cleaner shell. Sold the shell and I found a clean S14 S1 rolling shell for sale. It was all stock except for HKS coilovers and a tomei 1.5 way diff. Sold the coilovers got new BC gold coilovers, Got a 7 point Safety 21 cage with side intrusions. Ordered VSKFs from JDM Concept 18x9.5+2 and 18x10.5 +1. Sold my plazman plenum got a slide industries plunum with sard fuel and 90mm throttle body. got all my aero. Navan front bar, Navan side skirts and rear pods. JDM rear bar and front gaurds, gandor side mirrors and a orgrin roof wing. Started Smoothing out the engine bay ready for paint. I decided to paint the car Honda Oddessy purple. Bay and interior got painted. Then a few weeks later the shell.
