The Import Industry
Mr Eps replied to Mr Eps's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
speaking of fuckheads -
Hi i know i'm not supposed to disclose too much information about this in public forum. so names have been omitted and certain details have also. but here's the gist. i have a guy that i work with. he told me months ago he was looking at importing a car for himself. this turned into importing several cars. for the intent to sell. i tried giving him helpful advise and points to look at, but he jumped in and kinda seemed too hot headded for my liking so i kinda backed off for a while and sorta decided to let him... well... sink, really... i told him literally a tousand times. if he doesn't know exactly how to do it. don't do it. pay a broker. but no no. mister guy over here took matters into his own hands and has imported cars on his own back with the help of a friend in japan. in short - he has a guy he knows that lives in japan. he's bringing in two cars under the "personal import scheme" as you will all be well aware. you can bring one car in - upon your arrival to australia after living abroad and owning the car for at least a year. he bought these two cars in question a few weeks ago, and is importing two cars into the country. but here's the rich part, are you ready for it? can you handle it? or are you too full from the entree and main course... no??? you can fit in dessert? okay... here it is.. the guy in japan won't be returning to australia at all.. he didn't know you had to come back to australia oh, still hungry? the cars are currently either on the boat en route to australia or waiting to be put onto a boat. i couldn't quite get that info from him now, please give this a moment to let this information *sink in* ...good. now, is there any brokers that are willing to rescue this... for lack of a better term "shipment of fail" to give this guy a hand? or is it too late for my entreprenuial work colleague... fyi - i'm in no way affiliated with the party in question, and will not lose any sleep if you all laugh profusely (like i have) and just let nature run it's course i gotta admit - part of me feels sorry for the guy... can anyone help? does anyone want to help?

to OP save up for PS3 don't sell your wii dude you need it even i need mine and i hardly ever use it but i just like knowing it's there xbox - you sell it for what, 200 bucks? then you won't HAVE IT anymore... but thats your call reality is ps3.. tv, recordable tv, it's getting freeview option (which is like ABC's iview in that you can select any program you want to watch and it streams off the net in hidef) download free demos of games off ps store blu-ray (obvious big selling point) gt5 is about to come out (big seller) plus it's a web browser - so if you have it set up, in say your room... you can go to www.allsp.com and use the ps3 to stream any episode of south park straight from the net. plus youtube. plus red tube. just sayin. it's rad. there was one other thing that i found out about the other day but i forget which -... i was amazed by it OH EYAH!!!!! if you're ANYTHING like me - you'll be banned from any self respecting video shop - because you are so shit at returning movies - i know i am. i am forever paying late fees well worry NO MORE!!!! ps store now has a video shop - with a slecetion of (about) 600 movies or so to choose from, rent, or buy buying is about 20-29 bucks depending on what movie it is renting is about 4 bucks a movie in standard def, 6 bucks a movie in 1080p hi-def take about an hour to download, but if you leave the download to cook for about 20 mins, you can comfortably play it while it's downloading and not worry the rental works like this you pay for the movie, download it, file can be opened / played for 2 weeks... so as if you've "reserved it" then once you open the file n start playing it... you then get 48 hours to watch it as many times as you like... after then two week reserve period, or the 48 hours is over... the file simply deletes itself and you don't have to worry about taking those damn videos back. so to answer your question buy a PS3. or i will report this thread to the administrator and he will ban you haha

Lpack = top of the range, you get access to many more options with Lpackage but the staples are the woodgrain dash, TEMS suspension (not applicable due to coilover setup - and incase you don't know, TEMS = a button you press, you want relaxed soft suspension, push the button and it handles like commo / falcon easy rider stuff, you push the tems button again and suspension goes stiff for more "spirited" drive what is now called elec damper control i suppose - except understand this is a car designed n built in the 1990's... so very impressive for it's age... oh also the dash has a touchscreen stereo, tv, dvd, gps and satnav station (again not applicable because prev owner retained his aftermarket stereo so i have to buy a newie - which iw as going to do anyway, again... lpackage stereo was very impressive tech for a 90's car but nowadays is out dated but staples for me are - sunroof (which is optional) and woodgrain (which haters can hate but i like the woodgrain with my gaudy burgundy interior) and full electric seats (slide / tilt / lumbar support with memory settings) btw - guys if you think my aftermarket sc430 retrim is foul check out the lexus sc430 eternal jewel interior (final run of sc430) of which production finishes this month haha suddenly mine doesn't appear that bad at all does it nah i get that it's not everyone's taste... if anything it's horribly ricey. but i like it just kidding. i love it! -

I Bought A Car
Mr Eps replied to Mr Eps's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
update all... while scouring the internet, i found something today... when i purchased this car - i looked at the paint, and the 1-off bodykit, and the IS F exhaust, and the interior... and thought no way would a japanese shop / owner go THAT FAR with car mods, then drive it around on those BULL SHIT 17" wheels. i had my theory that the owner sold the car, kept his high spec stereo, and put on some cheap 17" wheels he had lieing around so that he could keep the wheels n sell the car well look what i found... mah bebbeh. in days gone by. -

this one's for sale -
25GTT the only way i can see you ever regretting a purchase of a taos C is when you're riding home from work pumping your legs working hard smashing up a hill puffing panting and seeing some choade on a roadbike glide past you as if you don't exist. it sucks and it happens to all of us at some stage - which is why you will soon have THREE bikes.
-
seriously do it will you regret it???
-
as i keep saying in every other thread about this sort of thing if someone wants to pay that for a car - let them they're getting a decent price for a rare car no spare keys no service history? who cares, you're buying a car - not a bunch of statistics n paperwork

I Bought A Car
Mr Eps replied to Mr Eps's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
oh noes it's missing a stereo that has language and touch screen in japanese with a japanese GPS sat nav that has no use in australia ...guess i'll just have to buy a pioneer touch screen double din then guise - it's misisng it's stereo because owner obviously replaced orig with aftermarket and kept the stereo for his next car, this is not uncommon to happen, also i think this would also explain the high offset 17" work vsxx for all i know the car may have had 20" riverside trafficstars and been a TAS competitor or something (unlikely but you never know) i'm not going to disclose much more info about this car cos ... it's mine and i haven't GOT it yet but i do however know that the interior retrim has been performed by a top retrim shop in J ... i beleive the brand is embroidered on it somewhere?? it's an interesting piece of kit and shan - STAY OUTTA MAI LIFE! haha and no i didn't pay THAT much for it - but if i disclose the figure i'm going to get a million and forty knuckle draggers saying "you could have got one for less if you just bought locally" oh hello good news everyone i'm at my desk here at work, i just scratched my cheek and turns out i have a very juicy ripe pimple beneath my skin now if you'll excuse me i must go to the mens' and play what i like to call "colour in the mirror glass" -

EDIT: pearl white soarer is clean, no rust was grade 4.5 (or 4 can't remember) B grade exterior and B grade interior (like new for it's age) and no i'm not changing those exhausts i love them! they're the lexus IS F exhausts -

Lhd Motorhomes
Mr Eps replied to R.Ware's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
yeah what shan said i know you are eligable to bring them in under the personal owner import scheme but as far as lhd / rhd conversion i have absolutely no idea, and will not comment on the matter in case i give wrong info... it may be different because it's a motorhome here at SAU we tend to deal mostly with silly low suspension japanese coupe's with big wheels i would suggest contacting either DOTARS (google it) for further info and ...whichever queensland government department handles the roads / car registration -

Blue Headlights...can Anyone Help?
Mr Eps replied to show.it.off's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
slightly off topic - nowadays when i'm A) stopped at traffic lights for a long time behind someone B) stuck in not moving / slow moving traffic C) in a multi storey carpark i turn my headlights off... and leave only my park / city lights on.. then turn the low beams on when i am supposed to traffic lights... driver in front knows i'm there. driver doesn't need to be blinded by my headlights. slow moving traffic ie: city, pedestrians don't need my big bright headlights to blind them and i can see from city shop / street lights multistory carpark is a big one particularly if i'm on my way out. if i'm "up" and "heading down" a ramp, and another car is coming in, or "heading up" the ramp... ...my headlights point DOWN... naturally... so it shines directly in their eyes if they're left on... as in the central spectrum of light points directly into their retinas in this case, it's not pleasant and i hate having it done to me! so that's the way i drive - and i encourage other people to take note also... it's just common courtesy! you don't drive with high beams on unless you have to... so why drive with your headlights on when they're not needed! -
OP just saw you ARE in WA it's high time you learned to stop being a fag i dunno what happened to you in earlier age but seriously you're in WA what's your budget it's time you pissed on the inside of your pants you can buy my car remember that time you were 4 years old at the orphanage and your foster parents came to pick you up?? remember how excited you were that you were FINALLY being adopted? imagine multiplying that feeling by ten. that's what you'll feel when you see my car needless to say this is why you will piss your pants.

dear retarded OP a few things someone said on this page that you can't polish a turd. and to an extent i agree, and disagree with that statement i agree with it because you can't polish a turd. but then again on the other hand. i disagree. because... umm.. oh wait thats right... you can't polish a turd. bro. i'm not going to bore you with my opinions. i've seen some posts and am kinda gathering what state you're from... IF your PM is active then PM me let me know what state you're in... where you're from and what your budget is for a car. if you're not a complete loser i might just make 2010 the year you finally lose your virginity. and in case you can't read between the lines. i have a car which you may be able to afford that will literally make you piss in your pants when you see it. think i'm joking? think again i mean literally. piss. your. pants. you'll see this bad ass mother fucker and forget where the fuck you're standing. i mean totally forget where you are. you'll feel your stomach muscles sorta let go of everything then before you know it you'll have the hot tingly feeling of warm flowing piss. trickling down your left leg. i dunno why your dick points that way man don't look at me funny as if i'm expected to know why it goes down that leg. what am i. a doctor? soon after there will form a wet patch on the front of your favourite jeans. you'll feel a bit embarrased but dammit you'll feel relaxed. all i know is you'll piss on the inside of your pants. it's gonna suck, no doubt. but if you are not a gayman. it may be worth it. because if you buy this car that i am talking about. the minute you'll sit inside it girls will literally jump off cafe strips from their tables where they'll be enjoying a hot milo with their boyfriends and rip their miniskirts off and tell you that they're ready to bone it'll be fun to bone for a few weeks but after a while you'll want to settle down and find a girl you can call your girlfriend, maybe one day make her your wife... have a few kids inside her. and you'll say. shit yeah. thats my car bitch. seriously fagmo. PM me your state and budget. or have you already bought an excel or some shit if you have then add "can multitask" to your resume under special skills motherfucker becuase if you bought an excel then you're gay and dead to me. at the same time.
