  1. Spotted what I reckon was Darkhorse's black R33 parked on Rundle street at lunch today. Also spotted a blue R34 GTT heading up Grenfell St about 12:45. Had a GTR badge pity apart from that was nice. Wasn't bayside blue though, looked like it was repainted in ford Blueprint with some sort of pearl?
  2. Approx 3.5-3.8L.. mine took about 3.6 last time I changed to fill to the bottom of the filler plug.
  3. Ryan, whats the price for 5L of 8100 XCess?? oil change time for the 33
  4. Hrmm, might take me a few more years to run up 1.6 million kms I think... has it had a rebuild?
  5. I went for a walk in the rain just because it was so nice and refreshing! Bit cold now though LOL
  6. Spotted a gunmetal 32 GTR on the back of a flat-bed this avo in town. had ROH Drift R's on it and looked very clean. Can only presume mechanical prob as the paint looked fine to me.
  7. I would be interested in a full exterior detail as well... If someone can organise it (preferably in the city or southside) the I would definately be up for it
  8. Well most motorkhana's are held here at a big car park for a distribution centre (we dont have a propper skid pan ) so pretty sure its bitumen. I realise the skyline might be a little oversize, but Im really only going there to have some fun and throw the car around a bit. I dont expect to be competitive
  9. Did this end up selling? please PM me if still available
  10. Done! Well done setting it up
  11. Has the full track been confirmed Nick? I read in the paper the other day they were considering it because the victoria park rebuild got rejected by council, but I thought they were waiting too see how attendances went this year?
  12. ^ Carl, where abouts do you work? Im at the end of Pirie St, opposite the blood bank. Pity I dont have a window near my desk, im in the middle of the "cube farm"
  13. LOL, I dont think anyone ever plans to crash. If we didnt plan to crash, we wouldnt need insurance, right? Sometimes accidents happen, and the last thing you want is some $1-2k excess which just makes you feel worse. Anyway, Im with Shannons: 27yo, rating one for life, no speeding fines in the last 5 years and my premium is ~1000 a year from memory for R33 GTS-t with mods. Excess is only $400 and have choice of repairer and first right to wreck in worst case scenario.
  14. ^ The 9th was a drift practice
  15. Saw bezender on South Rd @ Darlington. I was coming out the BP and would've cought/passed you but some old fella in a Toyota Echo in front of me was waiting for an invitation to leave the servo (missed at least 3 gaps!)
  16. Nigel, Lee here (bought the springs/top hats etc). How did you go getting the ECU running? Im thinking of purchasing a re-tuned RB20 ECU for my car also, and would like to know your experiences. Did you get it working ok in the end, and do you think it was worth the money to go this path? Cheers Lee
  17. Tangles, got this reply from my friend who worked in the radiator industry for about 10 years: Dodgiest backyarders is Motor Radiators in the city, can’t remember street name but I think it’s Halifax, but definitely don’t go there. Probably one of the better quality places near by is C&C Radiators in Kent Town on the Parade West. The guy’s name is Greg… Looks like a viking… Not the cheapest place around from what I used to hear, but definitely one of the better repairers. Hope this helps.
  18. Tangles: That would be very easy to do. Its just a couple of electronics with the +ve feed coming from the ignition (just need to find an ignition +ve) through the components with the diode wired in the right direction, and connected to pin54 and grounded through the resistor. If you get the parts from Dick Smith or Jaycar, I can help you wire it up if you want on a saturday or sunday
  19. Sorry to hear about the car. I don't want to pick on spelling, but that did make me laugh, mmmmm steak (I think you meant stake) :laughing-smiley-014:
  20. G'day Karl, welcome(ish) to SAU Pug hey, are you the person on CSA who works at Wayne Phillis service centre? I had the white EF Fairmont a little while back which no-one could work out why the air bag light was on LOL
  21. ^ I would guess 95% of cops couldnt pick an genuine evo from a riced up ES... they probably think you're just another gay guy driving a grily lancer
  22. Congrats Cara, so what else do you have to do to make the magical 200rwkw you want (while still NA)?
