  1. Hey, I've got an R32 GTS-T on it's way in a month or so and was just wondering about a few things: 1. Best general maintainence workshop for r32's in SA? 2. Best workshop to do performance work/mods and/or engine conversions for an r32? 3. Best dyno tuner? Cheers, Adam
  2. Merlin - I'm seriously considering doing an RB26DETT conversion when my car gets here... That'd make it a - Garage Impul R32 4 door AUTO RWD sedan with a GTR engine... Other than just converting the engine I think I'd be looking at high-stall converter (+maybe strengthening the the auto box if needed although apparently they are pretty good) and prehaps a brake upgrade (its already got tuned suspension). Then a light tune on the engine and I'll be aiming for 12s 1/4miles
  3. Wat sort of power gain and time gain (1/4mile and 0-100) would you get going from a stock rb20det -> stock rb25det in an r32 gts-t? And which is the more reliable motor with the most potential?
  4. Hey, is the hand controller NEEDED to access all tuning options or not?
  5. Hey, I'm seriously considering going for a 4 door gts-t r32 atm but there's one things that's holding me back... the damn taillights!!! I'm not exactly a great fan of them and was wondering (before I go ahead and get one - no these taillights won't stop me getting one, but still) is it possible to replace them with the couple lights (or aftermarket equivalents) and if so how much would it cost and how easy would they be to source? Cheers, Adam
  6. Wow, that's not bad at all. Hmmmmm an auto's looking sooooooooo tempting atm!
  7. Hey, I realise this has kinda be covered a few times but I'm after a few more specifics if possible. Basically I'm currently seeking an r32 gts-t. I'm prolly going to go for a 4-door (bit of a bonus is that you can find them a bit cheaper typically) and was wanting to go for a manual. BUT looking around the place auto's tend to go for a fair bit cheaper (~$3000) compared to an equivalent manual. So I'm possibly leaning towards an auto atm. I can see some up sides to autos - perfect for city driving, keep decent performance in a straight line and cheaper to repair. BUT, then you miss out on the total control a manual offers, the better efficiency, the ease of modding and the better circuit performance... But if I can get a auto for $3000 less than a similar I'd probably do it. And in all honesty I'd prolly be fine with driving it for a while, but I know down the track I'd get the itch for a manual so I'm looking at conversion options. Roughly how much does it cost for an auto -> manual conversion on one of these cars (if we tend to agree less than $3000 then I'm pretty set on an auto!). Also, and the main reason I started another one of these threads - is there any one in Adelaide that would do it that you guys reccomend and that I could talk to about it?!?! Cheers, Adam
