I followed it and its still hooked up to the plenum, it goes to a joiner that goes along the top of the back of the engine. The hole was melted by the external wastegate

Ohh okay, because thats what it feels like its doing, its hitting 8 psi, but doesn't feel like its pulling at all. almost feels like its letting all the boost out somewhere. I have taped the hole really well until i get a replacement, but its still doing it.

Has a big hole in it, have to find a replacement

What is this hose/pipe that comes off the j pipe? in the bottom left of this photo.

Anyone know what the hose is called that connect to the part on the bottom left?

Cool, cheers for the help man, i appreciate it. I'll look into the Nistune daughterboard as it sounds like the best option for me. I also noticed there was a hole in the hose that comes of the j pipe. Would you know what that part is called as i need a replacement one.

Ok sweet as man, theres not much that can be done with a neo ecu aye. would my best option just be to put a standard 25det turbo on it? I don't want to make big power, i'd prefer it to be reliable and standard.

Hi guys, i have a r32 with a rb25det neo in it from a rs4 Stagea. Car was originally auto but is now manual converted. the problem i have is, it will boost up to around 8 psi and the gate opens. But it doesn't really feel like its boosting. Its also a bit hesitant. It has a master power t04e, front mount, all the basic mods. Ive only recently got it and have just began tidying it up. I'm pretty sure it hasn't been tuned for the t04e so that could be the problem. But the thing is when it hits boost it almost feels like its letting all the boost out, sort of like a exhaust leak. Im just learning things atm and trying not to use the turbo in the mean time. Any ideas? Thanks for any help guys

I had the waste gate hooked up wrong, wastegate is now opening but doesn't build much boost and runs like crap. Its a standard rb25det with a chinese t3/t4 type turbo. It is not tuned for the turbo, would this be why. Do you think just putting a standard 25det turbo would be a good idea. thanks guys

its popping off the turbo outlet and there isn't any lip on the turbo, and im not sure what boost, im installing a boost gauge now.

I have a rb25det with basic mods, bigger turbo, 7psi external gate. For some reason when it boosts, the intercooler pipe pops off which is connected to the turbo. I got t clamps and it still does it? Is my intercooler blocked, i cant think why this would be happening. thanks guys

I haven't checked the brand as i only just got the car, its a t3/t4 so probably a chinese one

i just checked and It doesn't seem to have any cracks, the top bit can spin, im assuming that its not meant to do that?

I don't really know much about this, but when i hit boost, the gate opens almost instantly and i make no boost. I took off the external gate (unbranded) and realised the top part that has the diaphram in it can spin where it connects to bottom one? Time for a new gate?
