  11. I would like to notify everyone that the First inaugural Classic ALL JAPANESE Show and Shine will be held on the 1/10/06 Location Pine Rivers Park Gympie Rd Strathpine Entry Fee $10.00. This is for ALL Japanese cars. Especially thoise prior to 1995. It is more of a gathering to see just how big a show this can be. It is being organized by the Z-Car Club QLD. details can be got from www.zcarclubq.org.au or contact myself. We would like to see this happen. England has the Japanese Auto Extravaganza, last year there was 1300 vehicles. It had to be held on an abandonded air-field. Lets put the Ford/Holden/Mopar etc show days to shame. What do you all reckon. You dont have to be a club, just a groupo of people. Some of the cars that are coming are 3 Prince Skyline GTB, 1970 Datsun Skyline GTR (from interstate, I hope) Isuzu Bellett GT 1600, 1970 Datsun Skyline GTX 2000.
  12. For sale 1973 Datsun Skyline GTX 2000 VIN # KPGC110 (origonal) Does not have the S20 motor. Has been fitted with RB20 N/A. Yes tripple 40mm Webers Currently club registered Looks like a Datsun240K but thats where it stops. Over-fenders-rear spoiler-4 wheel disc-rear sway-bar and wide wheels (75mm wider track) as new trim drives well offers around $15.000.00 Contact by email for further information Regards RAY
  13. Wanted/ Parts for RB20 DE non turbo. Extractors..1/2 to 3/4 race camshafts
  14. Hi there/ My name is Prince (Ray). I dont get on the site often. However have been watching the reply's in relation to the KPGC110. I have one of the origonal. It is Vinned as a GT-R. In fact it was a GT-X2000. I run a RB20 with tripple Webers. Someone said they are dogs. Wrong they are Sleepy dogs and it goes. My 2 door has most of the things that you are trying to emulate. The open front grille, the tail-lights are completely different to the Ausie 240K body. The dash and console is polished aluminium as some one said. It has 4 wheel disc brakes and rear stabilizer. Rear spoiler, factory over-fenders. (as some people think that the #43 as in Prince Museum that it has the origonal fenders they are WRONG as they were for the factory race cars only. They had 8 inch front and 9 inch rear. As a matter of fact mein rnus factory 6 inch front and 7 inch rear. Don't think you can fit them as they actually had to cut away the outer lip to the rear guards, hence the over-fender. The track at the rear is 98mm wider than the standard 240K as we see them. I have now gathered over the last few years cd's and video's from Nostalgic Hero's that show the cars in their glory. Also the battery is not on the drivers side as is in the 240K. I have fitted the RB20 to 4 and 5 speed gearbox's out of the 1973 model. The four speed is a much stronger box and the ratios are also better. The motor runs on a EMS computer. The origonal tacho also works of the RB20 as do all the gauges. I have a S20 motor and am waiting for a mate of mine to bring back some parts and that will go in. If you have ever seen the engine bay of a KPGC110 GT-R 1973 then you would be hard pressed to pick the difference except for the module to the front of the motor for the timing. Oh yeh it has distributer and coil with the plug leads into the top centre between the cam covers. I can possibly help with information if you require. I also have origonal paperwork, body and mechanical manuals (although they are in Japanese) for the GT-R. Maybe you could contact me Regards Prince. Oh the Prince stands for another car I treasure a Prince Skyline GTB 1966.
  15. / Just to be different. RB20 non turbo. 185kws tripple webers. Thats a motor
  16. [ Yes I have tried a few and the cost is staggering. $900, Although I wish for tuned length I am endeavouring to get modified cams and upgade a few other bits. RayQUOTE=warps]G'day Ray. Thanks for the photos If you want extractors, just get a set of custom ones made, to suit the driving you plan on doing (ie rev range). if you shop around, you might be surprised how cheap it can be. There's an exhaust shop at Slacks Creek who do work for a great price, but I don't know how good they are at designing perfromance exhausts (have not dealt with them personally). I believe that a well designed custom system will be better than an off the shelf system every time, as you build it for your specific needs and engine tune. Hope this helps Peter
  17. Me again/ More facts. One reason that the KPGC110 was never exported to Aust, and it was> In 1973-74 the Australian muscle cars were hitting the market. Nissan was going to bring a few GT-R into Aust, but because of the drama with the Government of the day the muscle cars were shelved. Nissan did not wish to ruffle feathers in Aust by bringing the GT-R in, That is with the S20 motor. As two well known racing identities wanted them to race. Those people did eventually get there wish with Godzilla a few years later. Going back a sentence/ The only place on record that a genuine GT-R was exported ,in 1974 was England, My car even though it is vin correct, is typical of Nissan of that era. They produced more of the desired model than motors and therefor down graded them in mechanical specs. My car was exported to N.G as a GT-X with L20 motor and twin Hitachi. Similar to the L24 specs as in 240Z There were approximately 24 KHGC110 2 door brought into Aust. with the L20 motor, which is a stronger motor than the L24. These were not badged as Datsun GL, but Datsun GT.(not Skyline)If I new how to download photo's then I could do so with ALL the models from 1957. Including a two door in 1963 that never made it to manufacturing. Not due to cost but due to being to far out for the era. Designed by pinafarina as they had a hand in some of the early ALB1S series Prince. Hears another for you all I just thought of. There was a station wagon built in 1974 on the 4 door khgc110 model If some one can explain to me how to download and what is the maximum size then I will try. Also in my archives I have pencil sketchs of the KPGC110 and the R380-381 (Prince) Enough for now Ray
  18. Hi okay then what is the best way to increase SOME power I am not fitting a Turbo. I am trying to locate a set of extractors for the RB20 Hard to find. Not even built still from my sources in Japan. Ray
  19. Well good-day. Long time no contact. Yes I'm now settled. Tried to email you a couple weeks ago and got no response. I will try again. Yes the GT-R2000 is the only real /correct model with the vin of KPGC110. We'll have to catch up.
  20. Ben/ further to your imformation on early skylines. Did you know that the First twin cam Skyline was built in 1965 (FEB) Did you know that the first turbo was in fact 1970 L20 I had one and is still going in car. Also the KPGC110 (1973) was sold only for local market. Reason that was never exported was that the S20 motors were owned by NISMO (alias Prince motor sport division, under the banner of Nissan , with the same engineer that first built the PRINCE) The motors were leased to the purchaser of there GT-R200 vehicles. There is only 287 cars ever built and reported to be 75-79 Genuine cars still alive>Red park has the most publisized vehicle (number 43) I have a vehicle with the vin KPGC110 but is not a GT-R but a GT-X2000 lower spec. It was brought into Aust via Port Moresby N.G. There was 4 different models of the KPGC110. Also as there was 7 different models of the PGC10 A little of the info. RAY
  21. The car is VERY flexable $1000 with manifold if you can use it is cheap although Delorto's are no match to webers. A new 40dcoe is about $400/450.00 Actually the webers on mine are origonally from a PRINCE GTB motor including the linkage setup and the fuel rails. As is the air box. Of course they were on the opposite side of the motor and had to be inverted. I designed the manifold. Regards RAYQUOTE=C110GTR]Ray how does the car drive? wouldnt mind those triple weber! someones selling triple 48mm matched delorto w/ manifold and linkages for $1,000 is this cheap or expensive?
  22. Thanks for posting the prints. The other car in the photo is a 1967 Prince Skyline GTb. Another one of my toys. Used to race this one. Dont have a problem with them in view Regards RAY
  23. Thanks/ I am also on that forum. Yes there is a few others there and especially in England. Thanks Ray
