  1. got given a Garry turbo the other day off a 13b. Exhaust housing is tiny. Intake is a little bigger than A/R 50... and I'll slap my Nisbro 1 way ARC diff back in once she's road legal th kangaroo subject is rather interesting.
  2. I thaught the only ones to get a kangaroo stamp we're Aus assembled.... like the VL boxes and so on?
  3. I can confirm. r32 Manual drive shafts fit 2wd Navara kangaroo boxes better questiion is why the hell is the kangaroo stamp on there ?
  4. So i have a issue. Between the crank and steering rack I have say 30mm of clearance. This shouldn't issue me except for the fact the sump is getting cut the f*ck up. the RWD sump I have not much of it will be left except for the rear section the oil pickup goes in. If I use the 4x4 sump I'll have the big dropper at the back. is there a don't make your sump smaller than this guideline? Or am I just over thinking issues?

It won't rev like a 20 but if it smokes a set of tires at idle then I'll be happy as a pig in sh*t... so update : SR20det crossmember with SR20det engine mounts bolts straight into a r32 ( I didn't not know this haha ) td27t with the 4x4 engine mounts bolt up to factory SR20det mountings.... its like Nissan wanted a TD in a Silvia.....

Some one ask me what a TD27T looks like in a R32 So some one got a little drunk and made a bet that a TD27T in a skyline wouldn't be sick........ so here's the project so far just because I wanted some were to share my progress started off with a Hcr32,hicas all removed and swapped out with factory non-hicas lines and subframe, welded diff, as much weight removed as cheaply as possible 700kg chassis as it sits without a motor. picked up a factory as frig TD27T out of a terrano, 2WD Navara turbo gearbox and a S14 SR20det cross member. Not sitting in her final resting spot yet. Just waiting on engine mounts to turn up. But hopefully over the long weekend I'll get some more done

  8. Not a readily avalible motor with easy and cheep parts to find.
  9. Small update : Have got spark perfectly. Have fuel round the right way and fuel pressure to the injectors. Injectors tested and are working. Except. When cranking the motor no fuel is flowing into the motor. Now if i go acc on the key, and turn the dizzy ( inside factory adjustments) i can hear i assume only one injector clicking. Has any one ever seen this issue? Thanks in advance.

  11. not sure if correct place to post, Sorry admin.! So just to settle the argument that i know some one will start....yes 20E in a 4x4.....because we can. and there cheep!! Hey all, run into a small issue with my 20E conersion. Did not think it would be very hard but have no idea were to start tbh. I have got the motor all mounted. bolted up to the 4x4 gearbox. Starter on, alternator on. running off the factory D21 petrol loom. The issue i have is no idea were to start at all with wiring up the 20E Ecu. Hoping some one could give me a take wire from here to this pinout number. have got motor cranking over easily and getting fuel. I am not worried about the dash tacho at all. nor the engine light or oil light. This is all going to be run off external pod guages. so just need to get her running, cheers in advance and much appreciated. have attatched 20E loom diagram, pinout and truck photos for those interested! 20E pinout 20E engine diagram 20E mounted Snug As A Bug Thanks in advance!

  13. Yup that was the idea behind puddle jumper Mk1 (My old 4L I6 EL falcon when i live in Kalgoorlie WA) So currently there is a ute deck ontop of the fuel tank ready to be welded down. Suspention? who needs that. Passengers floor is all finished, including some for sale sign as a mud guard (because weight reduction and drivers floor we are starting on. Open to any ideas?

  15. So, were do i begin..... After getting my R32 road legal after stripping it and replacing just about everything we got bored.... I will put more photo's up in the next few days. But, I was hoping some one had a wiring idea on how to run a RB20E manual without a Chassis loom? I have the engine loom, Ecu and the little loom that connects starter and oil pressure, But not sure were to even start with running it? Any help will be appreciated <3 Note: Yes a roll bar is going on, Note 2: sorry admin if this is in the wrong place wasn't sure were to post. Thanks in advance!
  16. So i haven't updated this in a while and I'm not sure why not..... Well....... i got bored and lazy.... So found a RB20DE that was imported into nz with only 90,000KM on it so got that in there now. Sadly it keeps popping CAS =[ All the enginearing for the body has now been finished, Including parcel shelf because last owner was a tool. Engine mounts all got made and throwen in. and the spoiler!!!!! (need some paint) Bucket Seat 6 Point Harness All new rotors and pads right round. oh and i found some Lenso rims behind my garage <3 Any ways some photos of my progress. And then a week or so ago i was running out of interior parts so i picked this up... surprisingly for 150bux.... All interior was there except seats and all drive train beside manual box.... Factory 20E manual =]
  17. Plenum - manifold gasket. Manifold - head gasket. Oil filter housing gasket. How painful to find one water leak when not knowing much about these engines haha . Cheers for the help!
  18. So the Plenum is full of gasket glue. As per photo one. Second thing (photo 2) are these three pipes correct? Acc valve into y joiner. Y join to air intake. Y join down to another valve to just below throttle body.
  19. All right looks like I rip the plenum and air intake manifold off this week and find the issue :3 cheers for your help! Just found a oil leak too... Is there a easy way to get the oil filter housing off without removing the engine ?
  20. Would it matter / cause Any damage if I was to keep this perminatly blocked off? That is until a later date that I redo all my gaskets. Bearing in mind the engine is only being used on the track for 60km sprints one a month? Cheers.
  21. With the top pipe disconnected ( the one that runs in beside piston #1 ) I have no issues...
  22. As soon as I start the engine with pipes in the Correct place. Just tinkering now to see witch pipe is causing it
  23. Oh man that's just messed up?.... -_- when having my pipes like that I'm getting water on top of piston 4 -_-
  24. Hey guys just a noob question here... When we dropped the engine into my R32 rb20de some how two pipes got stuffed up on the plenum and no one can seam to figure out how haha.. These two pipes on the plenum were are they meant to run to ? And the second one is a little valve on the back of the plenum? Thanks for any help in advanced.. Last thing left on this build!
  25. Tires are semi slicks. Surprisingly haha some one pulled some strings and were alloud to use them on the road well... Light weight advanti rims. (not sure on sizes as of yet) Brakes i have been quoted stock setup with racing rotors and pads. Clutch is a aftermarket 6PUK. She wont be getting driven on the road much so who cares lol. and suspention atm is king springs lowered slightly. 150-155HP @ engine stock. the 160HP limit is at the wheels. Thanks! will definatly post up when i have finished a race xD
