  1. All new coil packs, I did have a coil pack burn out on my before in the same spot I'm having issues so that's what made me think it was a short in the wire...
  2. If you think you can help and what to know something please just ask I can tell you
  3. Hi guys, so at the moment I'm really confused as to what to do now an need major help. My issue is that one cylinder isn't firing, iv check all the wiring to the coil pack and is all good, I checked the ohms of the wires and all cam back 0.00 so I don't think it's a broken wire except for one thing. I got a test light and put it on the pulse side of the plug that goes into the coil pack an I get no light flicking on the test light, but i used the sound test on a multimeter an I got sound back... ( just not response with the test light) can someone please help as in why I wouldn't be getting a pulse to my coil pack. I have a rb25det Could it be the timing is out? ECU problems? I really need help with this.
  4. At the moment I'm in QLD but I but I moved around abit, manly to Tassie an the NT. I'm if been thinking of a 350z with turbo just cause I like that car but if there's anything else out there that catches my eye I'll be interested... Haven't found anything yet though.
  5. So iv been thinking of importing a car, not sure what car yet but I just was wondering if anyone knew some good web sites to check out some cars an the best way to go about importing it, thanks
  6. Still having trouble with it need some help again. When the starter motor is out it works fine, throws out an spins like it should, but when I hook it back up it sounds like it's spinning an not catching the flywheel... But after having a few go's at trying to start it, it does connect some times an I am able to start the car, never done this before I took it out the first time so it woulndt be the flywheel right? Please help I'm so stumped on this
  7. Hi guys. I'm chasing a set of looms to replace my old ones, would anyone know where to fine a 3 channel loom? Looked at eBay an a few websites an I'm unable to find any I need two 3 channel coil looms to swap over.
  8. Sweet, cheers guys. I'll take it back in an get them to test it an make sure Its working properly
  9. Hi everyone, So Iv just had my starter motor reconditioned with brushes and bushes an since Iv put it back in Iv been having problems. When I go to start the car it sometimes sounds like it's jamming or just spinning... Iv taken it back out an have had a look, both the Starter motor an flywheel teeth seem to be fine just a few little chips from the issue I'm having. I have put a new battery with a lot more cranking amps as my older battery, could that be part of the issue?
  10. The looms seam to be fine, still all flexible an each pack is receiving the same amount of power...
  11. Ok no worries, thanks. Would you have any ideas that can cause coil packs to do that ^ ?
  12. Is it possible to tell if it's out of time just by driving it? Or... How would I be able to tell?
  13. So I had my CAS out an I'm not to sure Iv put it back in 100% correctly. If not put back in correctly what can go wrong? An does if effect coil packs, maybe causing them to fail, overheat or burn out? As I have just had a coil pack burn out. The first picture is of the first coil pack I had fail then I replaced it with the one in the second picture,t failed too just not as bad.
  14. I'm not sure if the dwell is the same for all six, how would I find that out? Iv only had the car for three or so months now an it does need a tune.. Can the dwell affect just one pack? Maybe it's too high on pack 4 an keeps burning it out? An I'm running a 6860 ecu
  15. The looms are still all flexible an good
