How will you prove his speed though? Do the laser units that you use keep a log? What other things would you actually look at charging the individual for? I'm keen to hear what it would fall under in regards to the Victorian road laws. If you know his age and nationality why wouldnt you look up all Yellow GT3's Filter it down to those owners who fall in the given age group Then filter it down again to those with personalised plates? Maybe make a fancy graph also and show it to people at the station. They'll see you're a hard worker and will probably give you a cool nickname like "graphy-grapherson."

But if 3 were shown to you, would you be able to identify the correct vehicle in court? Do you even remember what the driver looked like? So the vehicle could have been from any where? Those listings are authorised by the Victorian Police to be made public. I doubt you have asked for permission to be able to post the information yourself as an individual officer. I dont see how it would be harrassment, I'd imagine it would be the same as you making enquires into any crime. However, I still believe you would have difficulty proving whose vehice it was in court.

Exactly, what ever we post wont make a difference. Generally people make up their minds but still have a little doubt in their decision. So they then ask for others opinions, the ones that suit their decision are taken note of, where as the others that disagree are dismissed as being rubbish. Normal human nature I guess, we just listen to what we want to hear. Let us know how things work out though yea?
