  2. Thanks guys Guess I can suggest those good points to the engineer if he's being stubborn.
  3. The biggest issue i've been told that i will have with licencing this R32 is having an engine swap and v-mount cooler. Anyone been through something similar? Offer me any info? **Edit - Compliance and Engineers signoff done!!! This should mean no dramas about the 2 issues mentioned above from the pits.

  9. Ahahahhaha, pure gold On this subject...there's a custom painted purple 32 for sale atm, just a warning...i don't think you should bother. From what i could tell, it used to be non turbo and they've converted it (even though it still doesnt feel like a turbo) and no permits...the looks is the only ok thing...but then again the paintwork is dodgy (there's huge drips on the side skirts). Too low to get on the hoist so cant give specific details. Steering wobbles like a mother over 100kmph.
  10. Got two new tryes and an alignment. Alignment my ass....the car's pulling to the left. The guy reckons they can't fix it because it's the way the japanese cars are made (their roads tilt in right, ours tilt out left)...but it wasnt doing it before i got the new tyres. Any Ideas???
  11. Yeap, there are specific boss kits for hicas models. I installed a standard boss kit for 32 (from repco who didnt know anything about hicas models) last night and it just aint steering right, so its getting returned. Best to go to a performance specialist shop.
  12. 1. The easiest way to paint your dash is to remove the parts that you want to spray. (This saves you having to tape up other parts and getting overspray elsewhere). 2. Clean the dash with wax/grease remover. Wipe clean with a dry cloth. 3. Prime the plastic/vinyl with suitable primer. Let dry. There is specific plastic primer available. 4. Spray 1 thin and even coat of plastic/vinyl spray paint. Let dry for 1/2 hour to 1 hour. Spray 2nd coat and let dry. Do not attempt to put your dash back together while it's wet! 6. If you want to protect your new paint work use a clear spray over the top. This comes in high gloss for a nice shiny finish, or matt to keep the original plastic look. * Shake aerosol can for 2-4 minutes. * Test spray and get the feel for the spray can (how far away to spray etc) ...also depending on the aerosol can you are using, if it is possible to purchase spray nozzles for your can...do so! They give you a lot more control. (If you want some info on where to buy quality, pm me).
  13. Decision made thanks to maytech and nismo33 Conversion is the go.
