  1. A bit old, but still the most informative bit of info I have come across when it comes to calibrating the R35 MAF. But, still not enough I think. I have a power fc, datalogit, and am hoping to throw a R35 MAF onto my RB25 R32. There are many more options for R35 MAF adapaters now and the aforementioned APEXi kit is pretty ugly. Someone is selling the MAF data separately on yahoo auctions, but if I can enter the info myself it would be helpful. Does anyone have any ideas of how to enter the above graph info numerically into the power fc?
  2. Using a an R33 steering pump in a 32. That easy? I am hoping to get rid of all the ugly HICAS lines and solenoid in the engine bay of my 32 so I picked up a 33 pump and bracket (and a new two input tank). Looking at the diagram of the system it seems that I can remove everything and not need to plug any thing on the rack correct? I don't have the luxury of being to keep the car off the road for long while I do this so I am hoping to plan it all in advance to hopefully do it stress free. Is it really just as easy as removing the old and putting in the new? No lines are extra crap needed? Thanks!
  3. Its been a while with no changes being made on my part. Anyone have any new ideas? When I removed the iacv the gasket bent/ripped a little bit. Think a small leak there would cause this problem? I ordered a new one, but still seems like it wouldn't cause this.
  4. Definitely plugged it back in properly. I just went out to readjust the idle properly (didn't disconnect the iacv before while doing it), but that didn't fix the problem. Idles at 900, A/C goes to 600 and then not so slowly up to almost 800. It IS working, just not properly.
  5. S1 RB25 in a R32 Low(er) idle with the A/C on and no increase in rpm when turning the steering wheel. Opposite of normal, right? I had the engine cleaned out with a popular product here in Japan called Wakos RECS (Link) the other day and I didn't notice any change in idle conditions on the drive home. I then promptly took out and cleaned the IACV to hopefully rectify a different idle problem. I removed and cleaned the cold start air regulator as well. Only, after putting it all back together did I notice the aforementioned A/C and power steering idle problem. I cleaned the MAF today and reset the ECU and that didn't help. No ECU codes are shown. Stock ECU by the way. It idles around 1000 and with A/C it dips down to maybe 550 and then up to 650ish. Fiddling with the screw on the IACV doesn't seem to change the idle rpm very much. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Rory
  6. Wow, thanks for the quick update! It looks great as ever and provides a lot of inspiration for my own 4door.
  7. Any word on this? I am so happy I came across this thread a little while ago and would love to see more.
