  1. Yes it does, thanks!
  2. Hey Sydneykid, what do you know about the factory cats that come with say an r33 or r34? are they any good in terms of flow? I am pretty sure thay are not adr compliant though are they?
  3. My r34 door locks dont do it, i usually do it manually...the exhaust causes a small kind of vibration sound in the door that disappears when in locked position...maybe mine's disabled - how is this done?
  4. Yeah that is a very quick ET for a TS of 100.6 - well done. The 2 second 60ft is something I dream of with traction switched OFF!
  5. I remember it too, was a 4 door. Welcome to SAU mate
  6. damn babe u ruined my post
  7. denied what? I saw the thread lol, maybe i am an MCCR mod / admin ha ha
  8. what latest cruises  there arent that many organised if u ask me... /me *thinking* of buying a CB at this stage
  9. thanks, just checking /me wants a catch can now.
  10. Just like a mobile you can be fined for using a "hand held radio" whilst driving - always has been the law, before mobiles were invented. You are technically supposed to pull over or some crap. The risk may not be high but it is illegal to "use whilst driving".
  11. Anyone got a pic to describe this mod? Ie where you have put the screw? roughly? Boostd: do you need to have a catch tank or can you just do the screw mod with similar results? PM me if you dont wanna post this info Thanks
  12. wtg babes
  13. I wouldnt mind a pic either Rod, thanks My Email
  14. I have heard that Hallam Performance Exhausts are good, give them a call. Check www.yellowpages.com.au etc. You can get custom stuff made too of course. Probably easier to get the one place to do it all. Unless you want a Jap brand exhaust, then it would be cheaper to source one s/hand and then have someone fit it. Check 4 sale section on here, I know a couple of melbourne guys were selling cat-backs fitting your description [CR34TION & ylwgtr2 I think].
  15. sure it is. [oh no I am spamming again, I swore to myself I would stop this ]
  16. how do you know
  17. YES! The front ones from what I understand are AC fans, they usually only come on when AC is used or when extreme heat is present under bonnet or both. You will find almost all skylines have this fan in front...unless they dont have AC... ps I am not talking about Alternating Current either good luck with your car plans Ni
  18. the lazy ass was in bed on sunday morning
  19. oh no /closes eyes
  20. Mario: I understand most of what you are saying and personally didnt have a bad experience with you [or crew]. Heck, I was the guy who offered to lend my gear knob [which was later rejected by the mechanic]. As far as I was concerned I was going to an OPEN meet and paying my fee to have a run. I never knew you guys had booked the track. Perhaps this should have been made known at the gates whence we entered? All reports said it was a test / tune day...oh well My opinion is that the track owners took our money when it should have been called off due to the rain drenched track. I dont think I will bother with the 350Km round trip in future. /me wishes he owned a race/drag track... And just for the record: I believe the *rudeness* experienced by some of us [not me] happened before ANYONE had a run... Nb. Mario have you got any issues with video footage of your car being online? [hosted by someone else]
  21. I agree with you ash, they could have been a lot nicer to fellow skyline enthusiasts... I think the *pro's* take it all a bit too seriously and have lost sight of the fun of it, in their game of chasing numbers. I would have had more fun with my car pefrorming *like it does on the street* but s*it happens I guess. I am keen to go down to calder too but I know its very busy down there...they need to open up another drag strip i think
  22. anyway, helmets are a real pain in the neck [no pun intended], cant feel the car and cant hear jack...then some rotor or 80's falco next to you doing burnouts at 130db just makes it easier - not! as i said it was a good day, just not for drag racing jet took some vided footage in-car during my chap laps, should be interesting...I think you are talking about my mate with the camera though INASNT ? we got almost an hours worth and are chopping it up today... jet himself probably got a fair bit in addition to this?
  23. I got to see the "RH9" up close, nice car but the guys were a bit *on edge* I think... Not sticking up for them but they have invested a lot of money into their cars... I was pissed off so many people were so close to my car - including a lot of non-sau people, I was just trying to cool the engine down before the first run and every con, vic and gary had to poke their fingers into the engine bay...i am already paranoid enough and I dont want my fcucking car scratched let alone something damaged vindicatively...bah just left it at home next time
  24. we have video footage Gordo so we can confirm the time and let you know your 60ft and TS! was a good day for cruising and socialising but the drags were a little a bit of a disappointment for me...track was too wet IMO...bastards used me asa guinea pig for the first run of lane 2
  25. Hey, I got a 14.7 before the rain kicked in [again] I basically lost 1st gear to wheelspin on my 14.7 run which had a 60ft of 2.63 - this was my only run with traction control ON! Surely the GTR-700 can do a better time than low 9's with a TS of 164.9mph? ~ I am suggesting all times were slow due to the rain-drenched track. They should have cancelled the meet but I dont think they wanted to lose the money . my quote from another thread:
