Red rocker covers and coilpack badge very easy to replace. I agree with @Duncan, check the diff ratio.
Did the engine come with coilpacks?
Yeah it came with the R33/32 coil packs and an igniter.

Just bought a RB26 that the buyer claimed was a R34 engine. I’m confused because it has the black CAS and the red valve covers with Skyline GTR emblem plate, but it has and igniter and the older coil pack design. From my research this combination doesn’t make any sense. Out of all the threads I found about the engine numbers it’s seems that the first number correlates to the year. Can someone look up the number still? RB26 072998A.

Excuse my ignorance but doesn't 703rwhp convert to 524rwkw?
-

No worries. I'm also not saying it didn't make the 700. We'll find out after our drag strip outing.

The e-wankers are also on the other side of the playing field, don't forget.
Pretty sure this started with "is this the new record for -5's".
Besides the point. Do you have a video of the final power run for this car?
Interested to see how it hussyle
FWIW this build has been 1.5 years in the making. During that time I did a lot of research on this site. I've always said that this set up was going to make 550-600 hp. When it made 700 we both thought wow wonder what the record is. I've never seen any -5s that high so I posted it asking what you guys thought. I went with -5s because I was happy with hp in the 550 range.

No that's rwhp

We are using E85. The 1000cc injectors are maxed out already so might have to change those out. Powerfab rents out the local drag strip in April to fine tune cars so I'll post trap speeds then. Also we are taking the car to another dyno this week.

Really?
Judging by when that peak touqe hits they could be -10's.
Is this on std standard stroke, so a bit over 2.6?
What intercooler you running?
What exhaust?
What boost achieved that number?
These are -5's I have a picture somewhere.
Block is built with 87mm pistons, eagle rods, and N1 crank
Stock Intercooler
When I bought the car the previous owner said the exhaust was blitz. The muffler says Kakimoto
We are running 25psi of boost.
Here a pic of the engine
Here's a pic of the new inlet pipes

I guess it doesn’t really matter. The engine is being rebuilt either way. Just annoying that because of the price difference. Thanks for the help!
