  1. Okay guys, So i'm going to de-register it and hand in the number plates to VicRoads in Victoria. Then drive the Car to the truck depot, then truck the car down to Perth. The buyer in Perth have to get a permit with the VIN number and pick up the car. I also needed to write a receipt for him mentioning the date and price + photocopy for the previous registration paper and/or the de-registration paper. Are these all i needed to do?
  2. How come the WA dept of transport will want the vic plates?
  3. Thanks AbsentNamed! I'll let him know then, as he can get the temporary movement permit with him to drive on the road. Cheers!
  4. Hi Guys, I'm from Victoria Melbourne and i'm selling a car to a guy in Perth. I called VicRoads and they told me that i take the number plates out and hand them in when i sold the car. When the car arrives in Perth, the guy just needed to get a temporary permit to drive the car way. Also i needed to write a receipt for the guy stating how much i sold the car and when i sold the car. Now the guy in Perth called me and told me that the number plates have to come with car, otherwise he cant drive the car away from the depot. Even with the temporary permit, as police will pull him over and fine him. I just wanted to know is this true? As with the temporary permit, the guy in perth can drive the car to the workshop and get RWC then drive the car to Pit to get rego. Any help will be appreciated!
  5. Sorry digging an old thread out, I'm thinking off getting a V35 sedan and went to the dealer and have a look at one. The dealer have a 2004 V35 350GT-8 and its have 44k km on the odo and condition its alirght but not perfect. As the car is very dirty and the interior is pretty average and there are marks everywhere, also the little joystick to next to the pop up Tv is missing! I had a play with the gadgets and the car have a touch screen SatNav on the factory TV and have Australia map. The Radio can pick up Australia stations and its have the bose sound system. I notice the pop up TV when i pressed the button on the top the TV, it doest come up all the way and i have to pull the Tv all the way up. Is this normal? Also the car have the xeon headlights and fog lights. The car only come with 1 key and i asked the dealer can he getanother key? He told me he will ordered a spare key for me from Japan. Test drove the car and is nice & smooth, the A/C is very cold. Anyway i'm going to another dealer to look at the 250GT and the 350GT nextwwek. I'll be trading my V8 soarer and see how much i can get for the car.
